It is EXTREMELY important to remember that we are being escorted by a TSA representative. We have certain rules in place which must be followed - no exceptions - while we are with the escort. Under no circumstances are we to leave our TSA escorted group while in the secure areas of the airport. Once you go through security screening YOU MUST REMAIN WITH THE ESCORT/GROUP AT ALL TIMES! If you have a time issue which prevents you from doing that, please stay in the general area of the airport. We cannot risk jeopardizing the relationships we have built which enable us the privilege of going back to the terminals. The same rules apply to us as applies to the passengers NO sharp objects allowed and or anything that can be construed as a weapon.

The WV Patriot Guard has been requested to provide escort for CPT David Van Camp, USA, as he makes his final journey from Elm Grove, WV to Murphy’s Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA in preparation for his interment services at 1100 on Monday, 01 Aug.

Our staging will be at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Krueger St., Wheeling, WV (http://tinyurl.com/3kw25x7) on Sunday, 31 Jul, at 0830. Procession is expected to depart around 0900.

There will be stops along the way for fuel and rest, as needed, with the initial stop in the Morgantown, WV area. Additional information will be provided at the staging area.

Current weather forecast for the Wheeling area is for a 40% chance of showers Saturday night with temperatures in the mid-60’s. Sunday’s forecast is for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low-mid 90’s. Please ensure you dress and travel accordingly. Above all, ensure you are properly hydrated.

If able, please make a concerted effort to participate in all or part of this most honorable escort as we pay Honor and Respect to another American Hero who made the Ultimate Sacrifice for your freedom and liberty.

from your motorcycle that it is secure.

We will ride in a staggered formation and yo-yoing while on the Escort will
