RSVDon
I know a couple of you at one point asked for some pics of the Monaro conversion. So here they are. These were from March so it didn't have the side markers, exhaust tips, etc. I don't have any recent pics.Whatcha' think? V4junkie
Looks sooo much better now. The Goats are complete butterfaces imo.And those looks like M3 CSL wheels?
RSVDon
so its a g8 euro spec basically now?No, Australian spec GTO. The Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO/Vauxhall Monaro Coupe are all the same car in underpinnings with different plastics/badges/other exterior accents. The G8/Commodore/VXR8 was the new platform that replaced the Monaro and comes in 4 door/wagon/ute form. Likwid
I did a few searches, but Don could you go over exactly what a Monaro conversion is, as far as I can tell it's a GTO base but past that I'm confused

You start with a Pontiac GTO. Then these parts get replaced:-Front bumper to VZ Monaro bumper-Badges on fender go away for Monaro Side Marker Lights-Rear GTO spoiler removed-Rear bumper lower insert goes from GTO emblazoned bumper to Monaro flat insert-The stock GTO tailights are the same as the VZ Monaro, but I switched to VX tails because I think they flow better-Rear badge from Pontiac arrowhead to Holden Lion-Remove GTO stitching from seats (future project)-Change steering wheel badge to Holden Lion-Change GTO plaque on dashboard to Monaro badge-Remove GTO from gauge face (future project)Basically it's still a work in progress. But it looks like this when done. Edited October 13, 2009 by RSVDon

I don't suppose you have any project pictures do you? I'm sure I can find some on the GTO forums but I'd prefer to see yours

And the seats and gauge faces are gonna cost some $$$$$. Still throwing around the idea of getting the center leather part of the seats restitched in Alcantara.
