I dont look at the sum of the parts other then what it is designed for; creativity and to showcase one's ability. In one project the builder is showing that he can customize several areas of the bike from mechanical, structural, and cosmetic. As far as it being a rideable bike...that dude is nucking futs! Arlen Ness rebuilt his personal bike over a dozen times for this same sort of thing. he would show it and use it as a way of selling new parts and products.
