Kahooli
Time for the winter project to get underway!Picked up this 96 B6 yesterday to fix up for next year. Paint is old and starting to chip/peel. Need to put a can on it (in process of chopping and painting the can I got from gixxie) Wheels need stripped and painted too, it's chipped around the edge.... though I may wait till I replace the rubber to do that. Will pull carbs and give em a thorough cleaning and soak. Oil certainly needs a change and filter (got both with the bike).Bikini fairing is being ditched. I'll be looking for either a large shiny UJM looking headlight (7-9") or a couple smaller (4-6") to mount up. Not sure if I'll do bar end mirrors or stock naked bandit ones (since the mountings are there).Suggestions for colors? I was thinking satin graphite and white or tricolor black/gray/white. Kahooli
'96. Thanks for the info on Holeshot, seems they have done a fair amount of research. Since this is just going to be a commuting/funtimes bike I probably won't put too much into performance mods. timing advancer/k&N kit maybe. Not spending $900 on an exhaust. And speaking of exhaust.... I built this lil one up from a stock R1(R6... unsure) can. It was three chamber design, I chopped it stripped it, cut adjust, re-weld, and reassembled it into a 2 chamber design with a break frequency of about 700-1kHz (It's hard to tune exactly without expensive software...) It's pretty darn quiet from 1-6k RPM, but after that it's friggin' rediculous. So While I didn't record a sound byte yet...

V4junkie
It's hard to visualize, but maybe your tricolor idea? That's a neat looking machine. All kinds of potential to fighter it out.
