|SnOmAn|
Did you go to the pumpkin show? I was there and it was freezing with the wind.
buildit
I rode past there around 7pm on my way back from Zaleski SP. F'n zoo! I've never almost been hit by / almost hit so many in my life!Go around it, go way around it.
Aerik
Wife demanded pumpkin sandwiches, and I demanded a ride, therefore we rode to the pumpkin show. Not a bad time, aside from being under-layered.
gsxr750girl
glad you had fun! next time layer up lol
ReconRat
Ha, yeah, I tried to ride there once with only a t-shirt and jeans jacket. I doubt I had any gloves either. It got way colder than I thought, and I turned back. Girl on the back wasn't complaining, but I was gonna freeze trying to get there. OsuMj
I'd wait till it's below 20 to start giving kudos.Observed low was in the 40s yesterday.... no pitty yet
PrincessPratt
I went with a friend yesterday IN MY CAR and had my heated seats and heater on high for most of the ride back. Which route did you take? I took the highway down there and then took 188 to 674 back. The latter takes MUCH longer but is lots more fun on the bike. Simplest route, since I always get lost on back roads and we didn't even head out till after 7.
Aerik
Observed low was in the 40s yesterday.... no pitty yet Absolutely correct. I'm ok, just whining. I will, however, expect my duly-deserved pity in a couple of months.
jagr
We hit the PS about Noon on Saturday. Drove down. Had a tshirt and a sweatshirt on and was freezing walking around. So I can imagine riding after 7 wasn't much fun. But ridins ridin.
NightRider
When i 1st read the title, i thought it said Burt Reynolds. Riding in the cold is definitely not fun, when you don't have the right clothing. By the way, wth are pumpkin sandwiches?
Aerik
Like sloppy joes, but with pumpkin added. Pretty decent.

Sorry frosty balls awards only given if you ride over 100 miles in below 30deg weather. I'm proof it can be done without heated gear. Aerik
Ended up with this '77 GS750 instead. Still fun, though.
