Medium may work, but will probably need a large. Not looking to spend a whole lot. I have seen decent jackets for $50-$100 at iron pony. But the cheaper the better. I look for good prices, but a good leather jacket won't be no $50-100. If you have the money to buy a bike, you should have the money to buy good gear. If not your priorities are in the wrong place and need evaluated. You must not be able to afford a bike really to need one at this time in your life... But to each their own. But to each their own.Your not considering the fact that peoples priorities and preferences change. If I can find a good used jacket for a decent price, is that anyway less protection? I have found practically brand new leather coats on ebay where people have since sold their bikes or moved on to lets say another style. I am only looking to buy something cheap which someone no longer needs. Money is not the issue. If I wanted to I could go buy a brand new leather coat but would that in anyway protect me better that a used leather coat? I am trying to keep price a consideration because it is good personal economics. I dont want to buy something that may be a good deal somewhere only to have it not be a good deal once shipping and tax are included. I could afford to pay cash for any bike I could want but that didnt stop me from building my own for far less. I am just trying to place things in a proper perspective. I appreciate the concern. But honestly, im not trying to be a thug here, but the gear either works, or it doesnt. I don't always wear the proper safety gear but the gear that I ware fits properly and at the end of the day I'm not complaining about some illfitting gear. I'm not touting Iron Pony because my son works there, but you can go there and try anything on. Who cares if you buy it from IP, at least you'll know if it fits. Not to mention how much stuff they already have in theri close-out section. You can buy new gear for less than what someone has used gear advertised for.May not be the same brand, but for all intensive purposes, it's all made generally the same unless you buy something in an AStar or similar. Check them out and see what they have. I just bought a set of Tecknic's Speedstar Boots and they originally sold for $300 something and I got them for $129...
