I am looking to do a lot of riding this year, and i herd this is a great site full of people who get out quite often...I have a 03 turbo hayabusa, it put down 345 hp at the rear tire.I have had 6 bikes now-2000 f4gsxr 750cbr 954rr2004 yamaha r106 hardcore chopper with 300 rear tireand now the 03 busa
DTM Brian
Welcome.Do you drag race the busa or ride it on the street? Only place I have ever ridden a turbo busa is on the dyno.
03turbobusa
it is a street/strip bike, i got it tuned on 5lbs right now and it puts down 230 hp on that, it can run on pump gas up to 10 lbs and on race gas it can safely boost at 22 lbs, that when it dynod at 345.. ill be riding it around all year.here is a full discription of the bike..Engine:• Cooper Performance R&R engine-• NEW,head studs, copper 81mm head gasket, copper base gasket, bearings, rings,ADJ cam sprockets• Stage 3 Turbo kit-• Custom Intake Plenum-• BOV & WASTEGATE• Upgraded fuel system-• AMS 1000cc boost controllerTransmission:• Racecut gears-• Bigger input shaft• 2 stage lock-up clutch-• Air shifter and compressor-Other Mods:• Polished frame-• Extended swingarm-• Chrome swing arm-• Chrome fork tube-• Chrome clutch cover-EVERYTHING on bike is either chrome or polished.Bike is very easy to tune. AMS 10cc works w/ air shifter. Lowest boost setting is 5lbs 1st-6th gear. At 5lbs boost , it makes 230 HP & at 22lbs boost , it makes 345hp and can definitely make more.It just depends on how long you want it to last.345HP is a safe HP zone to be at in race trim. You can run pump gas up to 10lbs boost. It is a VERY FAST bike. It has 5K on the odometer. The motor and turbo kit has no more than 1200 miles. Theres a $15K build sheet on motor alone, not counting any polishing or chrome part or the bike

DTM Brian
5 pounds and 230 wheel is plenty of power for the street. Very clean bike. Gotta love the power of turbocharging. I have a couple of different turbo cars and possibly another one in the works. What are you using for engine management?
