Tpoppa
***SOLD***I just bought a new Gateway Laptop so this one is for sale.Gateway MX6447 - XP Media Center Edition. Excellent working condition. Good cosmetic condition, the pointing device shows signs of normal wear (it works perfectly). I will run the recovery disk so all the software will be exactly as it was when it was new.Comes with: Extra OEM Battery. Original battery still works but lasts 75% as long as the new one.MS Office Professional - a licensed copy will be installed.Memory upgraded to 1.5GBOriginal Box and all that came with it.Gateway Original Recovery diskFree upgrade disk to Windows Vista, this was a Gateway promotion (I have not upraded to Vista). You can run this at your own risk, but Vista upgrades can be messy & XP Media Center is a better OS anyway.$250. I will add pictures soon.---------------------------FeatureDescriptionProcessorAMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology MK-36Operates at 2.0 GHz |512 KB L2 CacheHyperTransport technology at up to 1600 MHzLCD Screen15.4-inch Ultrabright WXGA TFT (1280 × 800)ChipsetATI RS485MMemory1024 MB 533 MHz DDR2 (2 × 512)Expandable to 2 GBTotal Slots: 2 DDR2 Slots | Available Slots: 0 DDR2 SlotsVideoATI Radeon Xpress 1150 Graphics with up to 128 MB of Shared Video MemoryAudioHigh Definition 2 Channel AudioHard Drive120 GB 4200 RPM PATA hard driveOptical DriveDVD+/-RW Multi-Format Double Layer (up to 8.5 GB)Write maximum: 8X DVD +/-R, 6X DVD-RW, 8X DVD+RW, 2X DVD-R DL, 2.4X DVD+R DL, 24X CD-R and 16X CD-RWRead maximum:24X CD-R/RW/ROM, 8X DVD-R/RW/ROM, 4X DVD+/-R DL, RAMMedia Reader4-in-1 Digital Media ManagerSecure Digital (SD), Memory Stick,Memory Stick-Pro, and Multimedia card (MMC)Modem56K ITU V.92 ready Fax/ModemNetworkIntegrated 802.11g Wireless LANIntegrated 10/100 EthernetInterfaces 4 – USB 2.0 Ports1 – VGA External Connector1 – S-Video Connector1 – IEEE 1394 port1 – RJ111 – RJ45Microphone InHeadphone / Audio Out1 – Kensington Lock Slot1 – AC Adapter ConnectorPointing DeviceIntegrated Synaptics Touchpad with Vertical Scroll ZonePCMCIA1 – Type I or Type II; Card BusBattery6-cell Lithium-ionDimensions1.31 to 1.40-inches H × 14.09-inches W × 10.39-inches DWeight6.32 pounds Edited January 26, 2010 by Tpoppa
Tpoppa
This laptop works 100%. No problems, no viruses, not refurbished, etc. There is normal wear on the buttons for the pointing device (see pics), the pointing device works perfectly.Anti-Virus software is already installed, so no need to buy. Comes with a licensed version of MS Office Professional. Would be great for a student or as a home PC. $250btw, for some reason the display looks dim in the pics, it looks bright in person. InyaAzz
Dammit ..I could use a newer laptop around the house...or maybe as a gift to my niece. Whoops...gotta pay for books and tuition. Funny how I forgot that when I saw this post. Good luck with the sale. If it's still around in two weeks I'll check you out.
