Your DNS hasn't replicated down the 301 redirect yet, which is bullshit because that was done a week ago. That link should immediately redirect you to http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=42229 and work fine. Just use www.ohio-riders.com for now. Just use www.ohio-riders.com for now.That's how it was working for me, except I would just hit esc. and it would load the page just fine, although I dodn't check to make sure all the images were right, just nothing I normally pay attention to was out of place. It was happenning when reading a thread, replying to a thread, back to the home page, pretty much anywhere. As I said above, just hit esc. and it continued normally. I'm doing this through GoDaddy's Domain Manager though. They have a section for forwarding domains. You can choose 301 or 302. So I guess the question would be then, how is GoDaddy doing the forwarding/redirecting? It has to be through the DNS, as the hosting isn't on GoDaddy. Now I'm intrigued. Interesting. I might as well just do that on my end. I've been reading about a lot of people having problems with GoDaddy's redirecting anyways. I just switched over to this last week. Before using GoDaddy's domain forwarding, I had all domains pointed to 66.102.237.10, and used Apache VHOST to point to the right folders. My hosting is a virtual-dedicated at NCISP in Raleigh, NC and all of my domains have been purchased via GoDaddy. I have a domain reseller account with them. I always do the VHOST gig, but different articles on SEO suggest using 301 redirects instead. Sounds like a crock of shit to me at this point. I was using FF at home and IE6 on my work laptop. Both times I was trying to access OR using the ohio-riders.net, thats how I have it bookmarked.I would dismiss the popups each time (I never entered any info into them) and the page would still load correctly. Although bookmarks it isn't an issue.Seeing that any links you click put you on to the .com, that's what I would think. Casper will clarify, I'm sure.
