Insane quantities of money to produce an intro. And very cool.

Winter Olympics are still my favorite, ever since Jean Claude Killy swept the skiing events in 1968. Triple Crown of Alpine Skiing.

Which means I have to see:

Downhill

Giant Slalom

Slalom

Speed Skating

Hockey especially any important deal breaker games

USA skaters, and most of skating finals.

Did I miss anything worth watching?

curling !!!!!!

i ignored the opening ceremonies, but i WAS excited about luge/bobsled/skeleton; at least until that guy died. It's a terrible tragedy, but I don't want to hear about it every 30 seconds during the competition (just like i didn't wnat to hear about Hurricane Katrina for the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl).

nm, I guess NBC's website just means it offers live results... the only thing they are showing as competing right now is Hockey like tim said.

Edit: very cool, live video DOES work... and it's free if you have cable. What's kind of funny is even NBC has a "boss" button :)
