Craigslist Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 1983 Suzuki GR650 Tempter, I dont know alot about this bike,except that it looks to be in great condition. I got this bike on trade for another bike, and I intended on fixing it but I have moved on to other projects. This is what I know about it. Its a 1983 with a clean title, it has 11k miles, new tires, tank and seat are in great condition, chrome is clean, wheels are clean, bike is in overall nice condition, even the side cases on the engine have minimal pitting. The bike is an inline twin cylinder. Now, what Ive been told by the guy I got it from is that it needs a battery and the carbs cleaned. It would also need the inside of the tank cleaned and creamed due to rust. He put the new tires on and was going to have the work done when he decided to get a new model. The bike is in very nice condition and has obviously been taken care of. With a little work you could have a nice bike come spring.
