Honestly I cannot imagine any bike is boring. My view is that you get out of a ride what you put into it. But the Bonneville did surprise me with how well it handled on twisty roads, and it had enough grunt to move me along just fine. Considering that it's a self confessed retro standard, it acquits itself well.

Very comfortable too. I've done 250-300 mile days without issues.

For perspective: My main bike is a '99 Ducati 900SS and I have done half a dozen track days - solid intermediate level. The Bonneville doesn't really compare, but it's still a lot of fun once you adjust your expectations.
