Likwid
Why pay 270 for a tandem jump when you can take a solo class for 320?
chevysoldier
This is on my bucket list.
serpentracer
thought about it once. then thought about how dangerous it seems. so I took my bike to the track instead.
chevysoldier
It isn't the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop.
Likwid
Statistically speaking you're way safer riding a motorcycle AND skydiving... run the numbers, the frequency just isn't there. From a safety standpoint I'm trying to cover my bases. But in all serious, why do a tandem jump when an AFF is only $40 more. fusion
I did 11 jumps AFF years and years ago before I just got too busy to finish. I don't see doing a tandem.
chevysoldier
Just throwing this out there but my brother in law is airborne. He broke his back on a bad landing. He isn't allowed to jump anymore, too much damage and risk.

ironbuttwannabe
I think the one just up the road from me makes you jump tandem first. I could be wrong though. It's fun watching them all jump out
TSB67
I did accelerated freefall years ago at Aerohio in Rittman. Everybody brings this up this time every year, but it seems nobody ever goes.
CollectorDave
I dunno. My first question to the pilot would be..."Excuse me, are you planning on landing the plane? Good, I'll wait and get out then".But seriously I have to agree with Chevysoldier...It's on my bucket list also
AOW
last time I jumped out of a plane the people on the ground weren't in a welcoming kinda mood
Bkizz
I did a tandem jump last spring. I personally wouldn't want to do an AFF it I hadn't ever jumped with someone else before. The guy I went with had thousands of jumps under his belt so I felt confident I was in good hands. It was one hell of a ride too!

It was one hell of a ride too! did you bring the chair with you ?? sorry didn't mean to be an ass , not sure of your whole story or when you crashed I didn't an AFF my first jump. I was honestly more scared of falling out of the plane than I was jumping. If I can find the video I will post it up. So long as you listen to what they till you you will be fine. hollywood3586
yeah it looks like fun, but id LOVE to go base jumping... its a little bit shorter of a fall but i think the rush of jumping off a cliff would be sick..
chevysoldier
Isn't base jumping like 20 times more dangerous than skydiving? Due to the close proximity to structures and the low altitude?
