NinjaNick
Hayabusa or 14. It's all the rider and your 60'.
Chrisoh
I think it all depends on which one fits you the best control wise.Do you like the angle of the bars better on which bike?Which one has the reach to the bars you want?I think the Suzuki has better Aeros from the Wind tunnel Tests I saw in one of the bike magazines.Which one has the peg positions you want? NinjaNick
Heli-bars, but if you're looking for a pure drag bike, comfort means nothing.
Linc5.0
im wanting a bike that I can ride on the street (race) go home. and take to the strip....ive rode both...i like both...dont like the looks of the
NinjaNick
Then Busa.
Chrisoh
Some of which can be changed on either bike....True, but they are so close that the mods and rider is what will make the bike fast.Making the rider the most comfortable will pay more dividends then the small margin one is faster.I would ask the guys who compete on these bikes how the clutch behaves and probably go from there.I have ridden the busa once and not hard, but will get to race a Brock Performace ZX 14 soon. NinjaNick
Unless you're a seasoned drag racer with lots of experience it really doesn't matter right now, just get the bike you want (Busa) and learn after that.
Linc5.0
Ive dragged every bike Ive had....(8). They just werent set up for just that...
NinjaNick
Competitively? If so, even if you're not an AMA/Prostar racer, the Busa and 14 are the only bikes anyone should consider. Busa it is man. Post pictures when you bring it home. Cool?
Dweezel
yeah, and The aftermarket for the 'busa is already almost 10 years old, the 14's is what? Three years?
NinjaNick
Oh, aftermarket on the Busa is phenomenal! Fo'sho'!

Linc5.0
No not competetively. Just to shut people up on bets...and for fun.
Cleaner
sounds like any difference in the two is very small. just get the Busa since you can get a deal on it.
NinjaNick
LOL for a kawi guy your pushing that 'busa pretty hardYeah, I know, but it is true. Hayabusa dominates all in all forms of advertisement and popularity. It has become an icon because of it, so it has the most aftermarket I've ever seen for a bike. I still pick a ZX though. I just love Kawasaki's. Only zook I'd own is a GSX-R1000.

Just2EZ05
Is that cause you hate smelling their exhaust pipes? no cause their big, ugly, and only fast in a straight line
Chrisoh
no cause their big, ugly, and only fast in a straight lineYou'd be surprised how quick a Busa can move in the twisties. And for street I still wish I had gotten the busa for more comfort on long trips.I don't need to push that hard on the street anymore.
