As a general rule, you never want to use the language, "or best offer," because it implies that you're quite anxious to sell. "Negotiable" says that you're willing to lower your price, but not just accept any offer someone throws out there.

That said, I had someone offer me $700 for my track bike when I listed it on CL, so some people clearly ignore reason all together regardless of how you word the ad...

When I looked at a bike for my wife once, the guy said OBO In the ad and I offered him a reasonable price he said"oh the price is firm I won't take any less"..im like wtf?..he said his bro listed it for him and he didn't even know what OBO meant...lol

But tank and tail look like R stuff. Tail doesn't matter, because it may have been part of the bodywork package, but tanks weren't interchangeable between S and R.

i know the original owner of that bike. it is the wrong year body on it. it is streached, and has a wider tire, and exahust is cut off at the pegs
