oldschoolsdime92
One of the guys at work claimed he had read that 20 over the speed limit required a court appearence. Is this true? I know having my Cdl is different but for a regular drivers licences.

conn-e-rot
I believe it varies by town and your company may require appearance when I drove for waste management we were required to go to court for any moving violation ticket.
conn-e-rot
here is one I found and seems pretty consistent with other towns I found http://www.miamisburgcourts.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8&Itemid=
Scruit
Second moving violation in a year is a mandatory appearance too, I believe. Or maybe it's second moving violation of the same type (like second speed, or second stop sign etc)Saw this on an episode of "Speeders"... Guy sneered at the cop; "I'll see you in court!". Cop took the ticket back, wrote on it, gave it back to the guy and said; "You sure will. I just marked it as a mandatory court appearance." Cop was just putting him in his place.
