kawi kid
I'm not absolutely sure, but I think my wife actually recommended that I get another AR! We were discussing the fact that when the entitlements dry up, we live about 3 blocks from ground zero. "Do you still have that M16 thing?" "Nope, sold it when I bought the bike." "You shouldn't have."Translation .... "You have my absolute permission to buy another AR even if it means that you get me some fucking scarf for my birthday in 2 weeks." Right? In the late 90s, I had a Colt Sporter. And then a short barrelled Bushmaster up until '08. I'd probably get something relatively cheap like the Sig, Smith, or even another Bushmaster.Do it.... scottb
Speedy, I am planning around 5 at the range? Did your Buckmark come with the an allen wrench or sight adjustment tool? Mine did not have either.

madcat6183
Met up with Parks at Dales today to sell some mags for the AR 22 conver. was hoping he had the Kimber 45 from his site but he sold it. Lucky for my bank account I guess, not for me.Still looking for another carry gun, but not really rushing into anything. Might really look at the Ruger or Keltec that Cheap Than Dirt has on sale. The Ruger is sold out, but held both at the gun show last weekend and loved them.Still gotta pick up a cheap 22LR for plinking but need to wait until I see what I want for sure.Figure the price of ammo dropped a ton with Parks site and Wally World carrying .223 cheaper than any rifle round but 22LR. Going tomorrow to buy another 100 rounds, maybe 200, stocking up.

I really need to stay less than a grand right now. $700-$900 range, really.Scott... nice work on the Browning. I've been thinking about another one of those or another Ruger. I haz no plinkers right now.

Yeah id try it. http://cheaperthandirt.com/blog/?p=6090
jagr
Cbus. I also have a Ruger Mini 30 you're more than welcome to borrow anytime. I have no complaints other than it doesn't like ANY aftermarket magazines. Strictly Ruger steel mags to feed her that big beautiful 7.62 round. scottb
Scott... nice work on the Browning. I've been thinking about another one of those or another Ruger. I haz no plinkers right now. Thank you. I looked at the Ruger 22/45 and the MK II pistols, but the 22/45 grips where tooo thin for my liking. The MK II take down was a deterant. I figured go with Buckmark since I have fired one before. I spent more then I had planned, but I wanted stainless and the truglow front sight. I like the sight better then just the standard blade on the other model Buckmarks.
4DAIVI PAI2K5
I'm thinking after I get the 9mm stocked up to what I feel is acceptable I'll preob be getting a new shotgun. So next month possibly. I have a few gift cards to burn.www.ammoman.comI'm not absolutely sure, but I think my wife actually recommended that I get another AR! I dont know much about ARs but its cheap for sure or the M&P Sport for $630 I think...Next purchase for me is likely an AR or 870 or 500...Dont do the carbon. There are other better deals out there. I don't trust my instincts to pick a good AK from a junk one, so this may be the ticket. The Ruger Minis also have my attention.
Pokey
So what are the top AR's out there "for the money" for budget minded people?
Beegreenstrings
I know a security guard for a armored car company that will be getting rid of approx. 50-80 guns in the next 3 months. High end very nice stuff. I looked at no less than 8 4" 686 L frames last night. All with different grips and all stainless in perfect condition. I know there is a garand in the safe and a few other choice items. Say a M1A and a socom. If you want to buy you better be saving some money. I will post a list a name and number as soon as I know more.and from what I seen this is quality... Ruger S&W Colt Taurus and Springfield. As I heard it, He will not be parting with any of his beloved (8) Colt 1911's. Sorry, I took enough last night to bring them all home and the M1A and garand and he wanted to wait till he had a better list comprised. Good quality hand guns will be coming and I saw some very good deals.
