River Road Cinder Chaps and Vise Jacket

These River Road products offer protection while maintaining good looks when you head out for a long Sunday cruise or your cross-country journey.

The Vise jacket not only looks great with its matte black leather, it also offers excellent protection and ventilation. Protection comes from protectors in the elbows, shoulders and back. If you don’t like having armor in your jacket, or aren’t satisfied with what’s included, don’t worry as it’s easily removable or upgradeable. Ventilation is excellent in this jacket as it offers two front intake vents located at the upper inner arm and a large exhaust vent in the upper back. The Vise jacket also provides a comfortable fit for a wide range of sizes due to the stretch panels at the underarm, back and waist.

The jacket comes with a built-in insulated liner that can be zipped out in seconds. This liner features two internal pockets that are large enough to hold nearly all major cellphones/smartphones on the market, a large wallet or whatever else you need to carry. In addition to the two internal liner pockets, the Vise jacket itself features three exterior and one internal pocket.

River Road's Cinder chaps are a perfect match for the Vise jacket and they use the same premium matte leather. The leg openings in these chaps open all the way up the sides with a zipper from the top down to the mid shin, and snap buttons from the mid shin down to the hem. Along the inner thigh is a stretch panel to accommodate a wide range of sizes. Inside the chaps you’ll notice a nylon mesh to provide an additional layer as well as prevent any clinging to your jeans. Nylon stitched threads complete the chaps for superior durability.

In our opinion the chaps fit pretty true to size, however we have some suggestions for the jacket -- If you’re normally in a northern or cooler climate we’d suggest going up one size in the jacket. For instance, our “model” typically wears a 44 jacket, however the jacket pictured is a 46 and fits him nicely when wearing thicker clothing underneath. If you’re a southern or summertime only rider, definitely stick with your normal sizing.
