Hutch
Now someone school me on what to put through this. What is good and cheap for target shooting and what should be in a couple clips for the bad guys.
Mykill
Theres plenty who know more than me but...Any basic cheap ammo should work well through it. Tul-Ammo or Wolf for real cheap if your range/backyard allows steel cased ammo. For a defense round....I personally use Hydra-shock but recently bought some Hornady Critical Defense as it is supposed to expand more reliably. bowdog
I will get flamed for this but i have had good luck with the Blazer ammo for range time, i would stay away from shooting that steel case stuff but thats just my opinion. As far as what to load your magezines with for defense that is personal preferance. There are a lot of nice rounds out right now and all that hit a body will do substantial damage. MidgetTodd
He stays away from steel because MP can't handle it. I shoot wolf and tulammo steel all day long. Its cheap and have never had any probs. Walmart has it for 9 bucks a box. For carry I use Winchester Ranger.

idodishez
Why is steel a bad thing? Just picked up 200rds at WalMart for $36. Bad for the gun? Why would a range prohibit it?NoBama 2012
C-bus
Haven't seen the reason in writing, but have been told by the range that it messes up their recycling of the spent cases and actually damages the back-stop.

Cheech
I would be more scared of you without the gun. That's a hell of a point. Do you even need the gun? Good pickup man, I'm sure you and the Midget will have lots o' fun with that.

That's the reason the range gave me for denying it, almost verbatim.
