04DayTri
Has anyone heard anything? My fiancé is from kirtland which is right beside Chardon and said her Facebook feed is blowing up with people discussing how to deal with them? She had never heard of them until tonight and can't believe how messed up those people are.

magley64
Rumors abound, its probably bullshit as I said on rodo. No polarizing issues to take the religious high ground on. "God hates 3 otherwise random students?"I don't buy it.
Vulcan_Rider
WBC has never stepped foot in Ohio. I doubt they will be here for this. If they do show there is nothing that can be done. All you can really do is ignore.
04DayTri
Idk if they were there or not but a lot of people from the community and surrounding areas surrounded the churchy and locked arms in a show of unity and obstructing the view of anyone who may have wanted to protest it. The WBC is not full of rationale people so the fact they've never been to Ohio doesn't mean much
fizzer
They were in Hilliard last year at Darby high school for no apparent reason, so wouldn't be surprising if those assholes showed up at these funerals. Anything they can do to get their name in the media, they will be there. Disgusting people.
Likwid
The WBC is not full of rationale people so the fact they've never been to Ohio doesn't mean muchActually they are incredibly brilliant rationale lawyers. They spend $20 on office supplies, $400 on travel, and get all the free advertising they could ever ask for. Then they wait for someone to attack them, or a government agency to stifle their rights... then they make tons of money in lawsuits... snot
Can't understand why they would want to add to the heart ache people are already feeling. One day it will come back to them. So sad, they should try to get attention from doing positive things like helping these families.
redkow97
You don't get paid if your 1st amendment rights are violated. Not much anyway. The lawyer may take home a fair amount of money is "statutory damages", because otherwise it would be impossible for poor people to stand up for their rights, but the WBC doesn't "profit" when people silence them. All they do is exploit people's emotions to generate attention. Ignore them. The more people react, the more they win. As for why they would protest these funerals, or any other; it has nothing to do with the victims and everything to do with their irrational belief that all bad things are God's punishment for our society tolerating homosexuality. the protests are to raise awareness that (supposedly) all such tragedies would stop if we'd go back to stoning the gays <eye roll>

Pfloydgad
It's very close to "Cleveland", they better re-think that little demonstration. I believe Lake Erie is fairly close also, and not frozen. WBC, what a fucking joke.Ride safe all,Greg
MadMax33
What can be done if they show up to protest a funeral? How about a benchrest and an AK-74, loaded with Hornady 60gr VMax ammo?

How about a benchrest and an AK-74, loaded with Hornady 60gr VMax ammo?Statements like this roll back all the progresses made in he fight for the second amendment. They were supposed to show up in coshocton too. They never did. I would say they won't be up there either.
