RSparky
Wait a sec. It's not april fool's yet... Atvs aren't street legal. Why do you need tags?
max power
Wait a sec. It's not april fool's yet... Atvs aren't street legal. Why do you need tags?Exactly! You have to have them to ride any state APV areas, so basically, Wayne. What is crazy is that it used to be an $8 sticker that you had to affix to the bike. Now its a $36 plate that is super easy to transfer from ATV to ATV, and its razor sharp so its super easy to lay a vein open with when you crash in the middle of no where. The politicians in charge of this are fuckin retarded.
4DAIVI PAI2K5
ouch so its 36 plus the 8 bucks for wayne?
serpentracer
I take it the tag thing is like boats. don't actually need it, but they figured a way to get money from you. lolcan't wait for the day they average the amount of air you breath and tax that. max power
ouch so its 36 plus the 8 bucks for wayne? No, its $36 for the plate for 3 years and $12 for a wayne day pass.

buildit
I'm telling you the dual sport bikes are the future! Quads and dirt bikes are unpopular with the eco people, horse people, farmers and so many others. Their trying to raise the price to where you can't afford that luxury. Like smoking, just keep raising the taxes.

Jst2fst
Do the tags affect a home built off road go kart I've got one that I've been working on for a while now. As in made from scratch not a kit build?
max power
Not sure. Has to have a title to get the plates.

abdecal
For all the reasons we hate America in this thread. Just had to remember for a minute why we love it...
abdecal
But in all seriousness... That's ridiculous. You shouldn't need a tag for an ATV. Maybe show proof of ownership but that's it. Damn taxes, fees, and other bs...
