cmh_sprint
i'm going to ignore the clearly malicious and hurtful racist comments made earlier. hmph!loli'm planning on going that weekend. maybe ride at midohio the monday after.so you HAVE to get a camp ground pass just to hang out in the camp grounds? bleh. i was planning on going to watch the races, party with you kids and then sleep in cbus, but maybe i'll have to amend my plans. or just buy a camp ground pass. are they expensive?I would think someone should be able to hide you in their backpack. jbot
does each person need a camping pass too? or is it per vehicle/tent?
MidgetTodd
Every person. You can't enter the campgrounds without a pass. Unless the checker is lazy or you're a ninja. Both my apply in your case. But yes every person.
BDBGoalie
So can we still get away with shenanigans like wheelie'ing golf carts, golf cart races on the trails, and demolishing $37 pit bikes? Or is that kind of fun a thing of the past?
MidgetTodd
Past as well. Trails are off limits, pitbikes are not allowed. That being said, people still hit the trails and still bring pitbikes.... but the sheriff is there and will ticket and impound. Any bikes used on site must have license plates and insurance. The trails are trespassing. Still happens though. Golf cart fun is still in full effect though
BDBGoalie
Well that's disappointing. Can we still play on that 30' incline or is that off limits too? Running the carts up that backwards was always fun.
MidgetTodd
You can do anything you want, as long as you accept the risk of getting caught
BDBGoalie
Bah. I think the Army would frown on me getting arrested for something that violates at least three of things they cover in every safety brief.

Trails have always been off-limits... Vehicles have always had to have plates... The don't impound bikes, they just take them until Sunday... Etc... MidgetTodd
They don't arrest accept for serious shit. Warnings then ticket then impound then kicked out for everything else. Drugs, violence, ect is about all that will get you arrested
Casper
Bah. MidgetTodd
I think you're being a bit misleading... Those have always been the rules... Trails have always been off-limits... Vehicles have always had to have plates... The don't impound bikes, they just take them until Sunday... Etc...Yes you are right, always been the rules. But they are actually enforcing them now And taking my damn pitbikes till sun is still impound damnit
BDBGoalie
I guess I should be asking if the level of non-enforcement is still there.
MidgetTodd
That would be an accurate question. And the answer would be No, they have stepped up actually enforcing the rules
MidgetTodd
You will still get away with alot though and more warnings than anything

2talltim
$45 per person to get into the camp ground, being that I'm prob only in for one night it hardly seems economical:nono:
MidgetTodd
You say that because you've never spent the night in the campgrounds with us. And I think that is the weekend rate. They should offer a nightly rate too I believe
