Gixxus Christ!
After a few months with the tl I kinda want to sell it and get a liter class 4 banger. I miss the smoothness and explosive top end of inline 4 motors....and then sometimes I want to keep the tl because its so unique and has mo.ster torque....thoughts? NinjaNick
A few I4s murder that TL in torque.Come on over, we have room.
Bad324
i thought I wanted another I4 after having the VFR exclusively for a season and a half. Never took it for a good flogging but enough to know that the I4 wasn't what I was craving
ScubaCinci
I made the mistake of going from the i4 to a v twin v-strom. Sold it after three months, bought an FJR. I wouldn't mind having a V2 for a second bike but not primary. The i4 acceleration is like a drug for me.

TRMN8TR
I3's are where its at. Torque and top end.
SpeedTriple44444
I3's might just be the perfect combination. The question is, when will Triumph make a liter or bigger Daytona again?
Dubguy85
i3's are where its at. Torque and top end. for sure!
Rctaylor
Tune the Sprint 1050 for higher RPM, that could be a fun motor in a 400 lb frame!
SpeedTriple44444
Sprint isn't all that sporty. high bars, long, and not quite light enough. However, check this out: six monkeys Speed Triple Daytona conversion! I drool over this often.

Bad324
Sprint isn't all that sporty. high bars, long, and not quite light enoughThats been said about the VFR by a few. I think I've changed a couple peoples minds on that!
baptizo
I've had two V-Twins in a row and really love the torque, character, and sound over an I-4. If I went back to a four cylinder, it would most likely be a Viffer.
RVTPilot
Don't replace...add to the stable. You appreciate the exclusivity of the TL. Get a nice 1k in something and make a lot of us jealous.
Gixxus Christ!
I can't afford to buy another bike without selling one and I don't have the garage space to amass a collection. What's the biggest triple sport bike triumph makes?

DTM Brian
A few I4s murder that TL in torque.Come on over, we have room.This............Not only do they make more torque. They make it over a much broader RPM range. Wish I knew where to find a dyno graph of a TL on the computer and overlay it with one of a gsxr 1000 of the same year. The comparision just might surprise you.
MIKE53ALI
I would stick with the tl. So much better in and out of turns. BUT the Daytona 955i has always struck my curiosity and there are a few floating around out there

speedytriple
I would also say the triple motor. Has great grunt and decent top end power. Most people who ride my bike think it has way more power then it does. LOL! It pulls real hard down low and will rev out nice on top. Pokey
Bad ass Aprilia V4 sounds about perfect to me.
turnone
I4's are awesome. They dominate in HP and Torgue. Broad spread of power with huge top end surge. No way to beat them for the price.I still prefer twins. How they pull, vibrate, sound, etc. Narrow profile is a major factor as well. scottie.harris
Past few months ive been thinking about getting rid of the zx7 for a twin or supermoto. Ive wanted a TL for a few years, just when it came time to buy a bike, few were for sale let alone ones worth looking at.
