Sure, maybe, but he sure didn't look like his was backing down. Could they have restrained him from entering the courtroom without using the taser? Sure, but that doesn't mean he was less likely to get hurt.All in all, he was entering a controlled space in violation of the rules of that space and needed to be stopped. These guys are just an extension of the whackjob separatist militias, except they just make up this whole set of guidelines as they go. For instance, if the flag being displayed in the courtroom has a gold fringe, then that's actually an admiralty flag and they are being tried in a Maritime court under Maritime jurisdiction. I really can't make this shit up. The Southern Poverty Law Center has them listed as a group, not necessarily a hate group but a group nonetheless. Their write-up is here.
