Hi, everyone, I'm Igor, this is my first time coming to the website. People referred me to it on more than one occasion, for the upcoming events. This is me finally joining in to say hi. I drive a silver rx8, love my rotary. Last week I had my shutter valve replaced, required engine taken apart, had it done in the shop, ran me up $940, with a $20 discount after I gave them the quote from the same-brand shop in Cleveland. I expected this to happen at some point, since I've been told this is common in this model. Still kind of a bummer. I have refrained from commenting in your threads for the most part, what you have been doing around here doesn't bother me, but if you post up stupid shit you can expect it to be brought back up in your face. Ok, so the site has recently had some newcomers join in over the past few months (two) and we've welcomed them as we usually do the ORDN way(insert witty comments). As some have been scared away due to posting threads that were just doomed from the get go or opening their mouth too many times and or posting things not worth posting to scam new riders. I'm still fairly new to the site and I hope things change back to the some ole' shoot shit and not bashing. I mean I like a good bashing once in a while but it's gotten a bit out of hand lately. Just my thought on the site lately still like you guys and I've meet a few of you guys as well with many more to come. Discuss

I am a frequent visitor to the Delaware state park range, decided to take my new M&P .45 out for a try. If you have never been there, there is a nice 100 yard rifle section and then a separate section for pistols. I am always conscience of the people around me and today, I immediately noticed an unusual number of ass clowns. To my left the guy just starts talking to me out of nowhere and to my right there are two guys and two boys approximately 8 - 10 years old. I can tell the one guy knows a little about guns and is trying to impress the other guy, the father of the two boys. I should have left or moved when I noticed they loaded a 1911 incorrectly and couldn't get it to fire, but I didn't. They then begin to "teach" the boys how to shoot a .22 pistol. So I start to put a few rounds down range when I notice the more"experienced" guy walk away leaving the other man alone and the boy holding the pistol. He is gone no more 5 minutes when the IDIOT father stops paying attention and the boy BEGINS WAVING LOADED THE GUN around at me, his brother and another guy.....with his finger on the trigger. I exploded at this ass hole Dad packed up and left. The Dad proceeds to yell at this boy and I head to the Range Officer, Troy who is a GREAT guy. I believe he tossed their asses out. The father then walks this kid up to me to apologize. I told him that the boy had done nothing wrong, it was his dumb ass that is responsible... It has been bothering me all day, that could have gone bad for many people, especially me. I am sick of stupid people..

Based on what knowledge do you come to the conclusion that the police monitor this site to plan traps for the group rides? It has never happened on any ride that I have been on nor have I heard of it happening to any other group ride. Making up stupid shit to post only makes you look stupid, you should probably stop.

Just go out there in Intermediate as soon as possible and then do your best to try and keep up with the faster riders. Ask GrapeSmuggler, it worked great for him!

This forum seems about the same as most motorsport sites. I lurked here for quite a while just to see who was who and what kind of folks hung out here. I pretty well knew what I was getting to when I signed up, both good and bad. This isn't a warm/fuzzy feel good beginner/kids site. This is a site for people who like to ride motorcycles, share that passion with others, and have fun with a healthy dose of adult humor thrown in. If you are expecting something else from this site, you've come to the wrong place. When the weather is bad and people can't get out they tend to start bashing on something or someone. Doesn't matter if its motorcycles or racecars. It also seems like there is a certain amount of folks who just like to push buttons on any forum to stir up crap. I think its OK to poke fun at those who bring it upon themsleves, but outright bashing is over the top. If you don't like a certain internet poster, just ignore the thread and move on with life. Never assume that something posted sacastically in jest will come through either. The tone often does not come through in a post and I've seen that start some incredible internet fights when the orignal post was meant to be a joke.
