  1. I'm a track enthusiast who did 30 days last year in his 95 E36 M3. Went to Barber, VIR, Mid Ohio, Putnam Park, Nelson Ledges, and Road America. Looking to meet, and get more people involved in track days, with such groups as BMWCCA, PCA, 1010ths, CHIN, NASA etc. http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i479/rjhayes/Richard3.jpg http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i479/rjhayes/Timmayfest1.jpg http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i479/rjhayes/IrishM5.jpg http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i479/rjhayes/IMG_4337Large.jpg http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i479/rjhayes/IMG_4335Large.jpg Richard...

  3. Woodbury'd, adj, To be baited in with a promise of a fair price only to find the price quadrupled on delivery. Example, Jose ordered a set of 24's for his Impala only to get Woodbury'd when he went to pick them up.

  18. I think youve been had spammer. You come on here with timing that coincides with the frustration with Woodbury. You admit to joining because of the posts on their page. Then you get caught using the avatar of a bike that is for sale in Oklahoma. congrats, YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK!!

  19. Some thoughts: I've dealt with Woodbury before, very satisfied with the price I paid and the entire buying process - clerks were good, courteous, item arrived on time, etc., all good. Woodbury appears to be a prosperous enterprise, so the people running it can't be all that dumb. That being said, I can't imagine that either the General Manager and/or the owner of Woodbury has not seen/heard the shitstorm that's going on and has not stepped up to correct the situation, i.e. offered to sell the KSG to Todd at the verbally agreed upon price. To lose multiple long time customers for, let's say $1,500.00 is a bad business decision, plain and simple. I personally have 4 or 5 items on my "need/want in the coming year" list, and although I wasn't necessarily going to go through Woodbury, I definitely will not patronize them now, unless they make it right with Todd and the others that were on the list. I have recommended Woodbury to 5 of my personal friends that are into firearms and/or archery, and to the 35 or so that are in our shooting club at work (a company with about 2,500 local (central Ohio) employees). I told my 5 personal friends about this Saturday night at our NYE gathering, and the 35 in the shooting club will be receiving an e-mail tomorrow morning detailing what has happened. The company I work for has a published Philosophy, 23 points in all, that's been studied in business schools worldwide, books have been written about it, and is at the core of any decision made. Here are a couple of items from that philosophy that directly relate to this: =========== Our Golden Rule - We treat our customers, employees, investors, and suppliers as we would like to be treated. Customers - Without the customer and their need for our products and services we have nothing. - We will exert every effort to see that the customer's quality and service requirements are met. - Once a commitment is made to a customer, every effort is made to fulfill that obligation. =========== My company is a multi-billion dollar company with a record of 177 quarters in a row of paying a dividend to investors - every single quarter since becoming a public company nearly 42 years ago. Maybe we're doing something right when putting customers first?

  20. Don't know how Wilmer is in the business but I know Joe is the owner and has been since he stop managing the local Buehlers once the first Woodburys store took off. His name is on the business cards and is listed as the owner when I did a google search while typing this.

  27. Hey I have a production 9mm that sells for $425 you want to give me $1200 for it since thats what I am asking? Make much sense to you?

  28. Lets say you came to me for a bike. I told you it'd be a year before I'd get it it but when I did I would sell it to you for $5,000, you're the first on the list, first dibs. A year passes and I call you up. I say hey, I got the bike but there's only a few out there so even though I told you $5,000 since I can get more for it, I'll sell it to you for $13,000. Don't worry that MSRP is $6,000. Don't worry about the verbal contract we made a year ago, take it or leave it. That's shitty business practices.

  29. So much fail in this that I expect it will be impossible to repel all the stupid. Beachfront houses are a finite, production firearms from Kel-Tec are not. Only an idiot would expect Kel-Tec to quit making these but if so the back handed move would have been justified with very little fall out. (If that was Kel-Tec's intent they would have been priced way differently. I can assure you this first product release did not cover their development cost.) A reasonable man is expecting that Kel-Tec is going to produce as many of these as the market will consume. There are multitudes of ways they could have handled this but chose the worst possible one for future business. Woodbury’s is not the only retailer for these so they aren't finite; they have been very short sighted in not honoring a standing commitment. If you think others would be so ignorant to have done the same thing then I am certain you don't know too many successful business owners.

  31. Ive always heard that market value was driven by supply and demand. Did you have a receipt for your special order or a written contract? Im sure they didnt want to take any money because they didnt want to commit based on the unknown. Look at whats happening now they arent selling for less than $1000. Sure you see them advertised on the web for less but anyone can advertise a price for something they dont have. I think people are forgetting a big factor in market value MSRP is only a suggested price set by the manu based on what they foresee a reasonable price based on their costs of manufacturing and R&D remmember its Kel Tec were talking about just look at property costs beach front houses that are tiny cost millions sometimes and monster houses in the middle of nowhere cost pennies in comparison. I dont blame woodbury at all its just smart business Id do the same thing and you would too

  33. So? Are you the post police? You're ' is bullshit. If you are not interested in buying it for whatever reason then stfu. You want to be friendly about it and let me know about pricing, then pm me. That's cool. Don't come in here saying 'hey everybody, you can buy it cheaper somewhere else. That is chickenshit. What a dick

  35. So if my argument is so stupid tell me how many KSGs are on the market. there are only a few available right now thats whats driving the price up. Im sure when this gun is in stock and people are no longer paying up the tail for it im sure woodbury will be one of the least expensive

  36. Just got home from Woodbury after picking up my new Acog from my Smith And Wesson OR my wife bought for me for christmas. They also put on my Nightsights on my HK P30. Its like a new gun. Ive read some threads about Woodburys service or lack there of. But I've always had great luck there and they always have the best prices and even if they dont at the time they always match good stuff thanks Big John
