Dude, you beat me to it, but I had to get some dinner with the fiance' and talk about everything, especially after being gone so long lol. 1st HUGE props to Dubguy here, basically we took over Jennings GP. Monday was pretty much our own day too, yeah it was a "trackday" but over 1/2 the people there were people who were riding in their own private day Tuesday too, so we made up basically the WHOLE Int. group. Why not the Advanced group you may ask? Oh, because the Buell AMA guys were there. Yeah, that was sick. Tuesday rolls around, wait, tech, what? no no, we did that, wait sessions? No no, we don't want those, wait riders meeting, nah not so much, got together signed our waiver, plugged in the beacon, and OWNED that place. All around, our crew which was Mykill, SJC100RR, and myself had a great time. By far the best track day event ever. Not to mention when our crew met up with everyone else from OR and Ducati, it was like a huge family. The Indy Ducati crew are A+ people, they helped almost everyone of us with something, the FL Ducati guys were awesome too, not sure who know who, but I didn't care. It was awesome seeing people run to each others pits to help put the bikes on stands, or just run over to drop the bike, etc. Next year can't come soon enough, well after this track season which just got started a little earlier. PS, I'm saying this now to anyone running Motoseries etc. Look out for Cox, dude was BLAZING at Jennings, and so was Mykill, dude may be the jolly giant, but damn he gets that bike moving! Candybluzx6, actually check their website and it has the price breakdown. Mind you this is NOT to be compared with any other track for pricing as it varies so greatly.

I have been called several times to houses where kids say their parents are "beating" them. And every time (assuming there are no signs of abuse) that there is "no question about it, your parents are in charge and until you turn 18 or become an emancipated minor, they live by mom and or dad's rules!" "And, they have every right to discipline you! If they feel that you need to have your ass spanked, so be it!" There is a difference between spanking and beating. Children's Services are great when it comes to dealing with actual abuse cases, but they need to but the fuck out when it comes to discipline.

I hate to add fuel to the fire, but here's some experience... Both parents have to leave for work....bus picks up son(10) at the end of the driveway about 10 minutes before parents leave...can't see the end of the driveway from the house(living in BFE, Ohio). Son comes up with *Perfect* plan...leave for the bus, hide in the woods for parents to drive by, then return to the house for all day playtime...he did this for a full week before the school called. I had to take his little ass to a "Truancy Counselling" session, where the Truancy officer said "Parents are not allowed to use force to get a child to go to school. Contact the Truancy Officer, and they will contact the Police to enforce the Law(under 18 must be in school)". We(and all the little miscreants in the room) were informed that using force(ass-whoopin') could result in Children's Services being sent to our home and the Parents being charged with assault. The Legal System(notice how I don't use the term Justice) has completely stripped any pretense of parental control from the home, and has educated the [little shitheads in question] in telling on Mommy and Daddy in order to get out of a justly deserved spanking. I speak from experience on this exact subject. Having the "Shoulder length glove" of Children's Services so far up my ass I taste latex, is very unpleasant. From having the ex's family make "anonymous" calls, to the [little shithead in question] saying "I'm going to get beat when I get home"....they existed in my life for YEARS without finding a single IOTA of mistreatment, abuse nor neglect. I was guilty until proven innocent, no matter how many times I was investigated. Since the system created the problem, the system now has to deal with it, i.e. - tazing a 9-yr old. Now for the bleeding heart out-cry from the media, shutting down the funding for the police. What are parents supposed to do now since we can't spank our kids, we can't call the cops on them (like we were told to do)....

I've heard this misinformation repeated so many times I can't count. Probably because it sounds like it could be true. But it's miles from the truth. Less than 10% of Harley's revenue comes from their apparel and accessories segment. It was $69.3 million last quarter, but total revenue for the quarter was around $1 billion. Since H-D is a publicly traded company, all this information is easily accessible to anyone. Say what you will about Harley, positive or negative, but it is not "a T-shirt company that sells motorcycles."

They have copied from nobody, they choose not to build or change too far beyond their expertise because that is what the buyers want. In actuality everyone else has copied off them when it comes to that market niche. They have no problem exceeding the EPA and European emissions "many others still struggle", they probably have one of the best if not the best fuel injection systems in the business. Their paint and attention to detail is almost unrivaled, and their bikes are EXTREMELY reliable compared to any OEM out there. You can actually still work on the bikes, upgrade and bling out to the max, and never have to worry about finding a dealer when you travel. Say what you want about some of the poser and fake owners "plenty of punk ass squids out there too", but to say the bikes are junk or outdated is simply not true. At least they put out bikes that people actually want, Honda tends to put out bikes that NOBODY wants. I am not brand myopic by any means, I love all motorcycles for what they are. I am more of an ADV or sport touring kind of guy, but I have enjoyed every HOG I have ridden......they were allot of fun! Choose what you ride and ride what you choose, its that simple. Do I get tired of all the Harley clothing and bullshit marketing? You bet your ass I do, but that is ultimatley their choice to look like an asshat. Harley is a pure marketing genius, that is a fact for sure! They sell a lifestyle and an image better than anybody, and they make damn good motorcycles IMHO too.
