Hey all, Figured I would do what I can to make the road a safer place for us out there. These decals are free to those that want them. I haven't decided on which design of the two I'm gonna make yet but I think we're looking at about 6" wide by 3" or 4" tall. Die cut decals that can go on windows, bumpers, whatever you want... Well, he really cant expect.someone to.hold a bike for.him cuz people always flake out. both other bikes I was interested in got.sold.b4 I got.a.chance to purchase em. I dispute the assertion that an unarmed person is incapable to being a deadly threat. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Zimmerman following Martin was unwise, but not illegal. Beyond that, it's all in the hands of the courts. Our justice system is not perfect but it's better than "trial by tv".

Whats done is done, continuing to argue isnt gunna change it... Im pretty sure we all beat this topic to death by now. he is going to get what he deserves, well what the judge decides rather. But either way he will be dealt with, now weather the decision is in his favor or not we wont know till the case is over with.

It should also be noted that in order for Zimmerman to clain that he withdrew and that martin started a new encounter, there has to be a seperation of time and / or distance that would allow a reasonable person to cool off. Zimmerman must convince the judge/jury that any encounter that was precipitated by his following martin was completely separate from any encounter that Martin may have started. Zimmerman claims he stopped following Martin and turned around and walked away: - Where was Martin when he became aware that Zimmerman had truned around. - Where was Zimmerman when Martin initiated the alleged second encounter? If we are talking about less than 20' then the court may consider that part of the same encounter, started by Zimmerman. IF we are talking 100' or more, then Martin will likely be considered to have had plenty chance to cool off and depart, making any second encounter a separate thing, started by Martin, re-establishing Z's right to self-defense. How much time passed between those same two points? 5 seconds? Probabyl will be ruled the same encounter. 2 minutes? Probably a new encounter. This is the level of detail the investigation has to be lookign at - and even finer. Where did the bullet hit M? Why did the gun not cycle? Was M holding the gun too? (proves a struggle for the gun but does not prove wether the gun was a the cause of, or in repsonse to, a deadly-force attack). Was the bullet found? through-and-through? Was the bullet found embedded in a nearby object thereby help establing M's position when he was shot? Did the bullet hit in in the gut/chest on Z's dominant side (suggests Z and M were face-to-face, less than a foot, and Z was unable to present the gun and take proper aim)? GSR on M's torso would also support that. Was the bullet wound straight-on with no GSR on M's hand or body, suggesting at least a 3-4' separation, making it difficult to claim he was pinned down. Too many questions. My head is spinning.

Wait, you were running 1:20's at Nelson in a 4 lap mock race and able to lap someone, or close to it/would have in 5 laps? Is that a bad joke? Was he running a scooter? I mean I ran a 1.24 last year in the race just to get past my prov. license and that was with being lapped twice by KTM and Andrew, and 1 time by Craig and 1 other dude on what I beleive was an ex-STG Race Bike with a lot of work etc. Anyways, my point to that comment was if that's the case then WERA must be letting some seriouly slow dudes run where they shouldn't be. MotoSeries wouldn't have allowed that, I know that for sure. I was by far the slowest, and wouldn't run this year at that pace, I would have ot be quicker or I wouldn't race. Okay, I know we are talking about tires, but can we get some more gayness, I've had a miserable week and need this.

No place is safe. Murder has happened everywhere, even so called safe places like school and churchs. A gun is the only thing that will put a 90 year old woman and a 20. Year old gang Banger on equal grounds. Can't grab a gun out of someone's hand if they shoot you from 7 yards away. Can't punch em either. If someone breaks into my house at night I don't want to confrobt them totry to go hand to hand. I want my best advantage and using cover if possible. Why would I want to risk giving them an advantage? Tactically stupid.

Put yourself in his position: 1. You're not on NW duty...just running an errand. So, that whole aspect of him being armed and in the NW program are rather null and void. But, it's an important distinction. 2. Your neighborhood has been burglarized a lot lately. Also very important. One of those thieves was spotted - a young black man. Not reported very much, but important detail. 3. You come back from your errand and in the evening drizzle a young black male with a hoodie is wandering around, kind of aimlessly, seemingly out of place. This arouses your suspicion, so you call it in. 4. When you see what he's up to, he acts MORE suspicious by darting in between two townhouses where he doesn't belong. 911 operator (who has no legal authority whatsoever) tells you not to follow him. You're thinking something is up, you get out to see where he went. You lose him. (my sole criticism of GZ is following him, which was tactically unwise but not illegal or in any way justification for being assaulted). 5. 911 operator tells you LE is inbound. You break off looking and go back to meet LE. On the way (according to his testimony and not refuted by anything we know of) Martin attacks you. 6. Martin knocks you down, hits you, and is slamming your head into the ground. Does Zimmerman know this is JUST a 17 year old kid? Does he just take the beating to see what happens? Does he know this attacker is unarmed? Better yet, is he under any legal obligation to just take the assault and hope for the best? I think you see a villain in Zimmerman through the convenient lens of the media, and aren't seeing the problem....which is that Zimmerman didn't really do anything illegal or wrong by checking out someone suspicious, and he apparently didn't initiate the conflict or the violence. And worse, that once attacked he could not lay on the ground getting beat and see anything but stopping the fight. Martin, if the aggressor (and it's pretty clear he was), is the criminal in this act. Yet, you default to seeing Zimmerman as the bad guy for looking after his neighborhood. Nothing he did was legal or just cause for being attacked, even if it was more than YOU might do if you see someone acting weird in your neighborhood.

I've been a motorsports enthusiast for about 27 years now, which is as far as I remember. Moved from Toledo a few years back and now live in Canal Winchester. I currently have 2 Subarus, 2 BMWs, and 2 Kawasakis, of possibly interesting note to you guys: 1. 1998 Subaru Legacy GT (I gather from other Oven posts you guys love Subaru! :ninja:) It was once stock till the HG blew and I used it as an excuse to put in a low milage STi drivetrain. So far: 1. Misc. drivetrain upgrades that make me feel a bit better about running it hard when I do drive it. 2. Exhaust - This is my first I6 engine and I really enjoy the sound of it pulling through the gears. 3. Steering wheel and shifter upgrades - My main interface with the car besides the pedals. I've AutoX'd it, and will likely track it as well this year as a baseline for the performance and feel of a stock M3. I got it flat black and updated the paint to a retro-racing theme from an early 90's 250.
