  1. Well i was inspired by a pic in the "Funny pic" thread to pull one over on the wife. So i ran to the Dollar Store on lunch and grabbed a few things. Today is her 30th bday. No im not a total ass this isnt the only thing i did for her. A couple weeks ago for her brthday we went to the Mellow Mushroom in Columbus for luinch and met some friends of hers from Cleveland and spent the rest of the day at the Zoo. So she isnt expecting anything today when i get home from work. Here's the final product. I did write a really sweet note in the card that plays into whats in the bag. If i never sign in to OR after today you know what happened to me. I also stapled the bag shut so she has to read the card first.

  2. My name is Kelvin and I just moved into the area from Cincinnati. I daily drive a POS 2001 Eclipse 2.4l. My fun car is my 2002 IS300 turbo . I have had it five years and it was stock as a rock when I picked it up. I have not had in on the road in about two years due to other projects and finishing up with school. Last time it ran it made about 400 on the stock twins until turbo number two got smoked. The car is very close to being back together I just have to send my injectors out to boost lab and get my new exhaust made before she is back on the street. http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/2slo3oh/GTE%20Swap/stlife.jpg?t=1285784563 http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/2slo3oh/GTE%20Swap/IMAG0166.jpg?t=1271394322 I will have to dig up some more pictures from last time she was together I am also in the middle of gte swapping a mkiv supra that I owned about a year ago and is now a friends car

  3. That type of carseat should really be mounted in the rear-facing position.

  4. My name is Dan and I live on the edge of Johnstown (Delaware County side). I've been going to the meets at Home Depot on Sawmill for a while with a buddy (thfchris) and went to the track day at National Trail Raceway with him this past Friday, so I figured it's probably time for me to do my intro. I'm into both cars and motorcycles and prefer to do my own work. Until about 2 weeks ago, I drove a 1999 Honda Accord LX (2.3L VTEC) 5-speed: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2026/3621/5064310032_large.jpg My wife's car is falling apart, so now she gets the Accord (with 218k miles) and I bought a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited about two weeks ago. As far as I know, it's all stock except for what appears to be blue DOT4 brake fluid :ninja: These are the only photos I've taken so far: I'd like to get it up to ~300 HP through tuning and bolt-ons, but I'm in no hurry. As for motorcycles, I've got a 2005 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe: and a 1997 Honda CBR600F3 that's been sitting for too long: Just for good measure, here's a few videos from Friday: And last but not least, a rabbit with a pancake on its head: http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/007/445/pancake_bunny.jpg

  5. Not only are his sideburns trustworthy, but he owned Obama. I was not impressed with Romney until tonight. Maybe I won't cry when I vote this year. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2

  6. Romney understands business, money and taxes so much more than Obama...that showed a lot. I like him more now than before. The government can't control everything. There are not enough tax dollars for that.

  8. Mission accomplished! After she read the card she was like "awww babe that's so sweet". Then when she opened the bag and pulled out the sponges the look on her face was priceless. The next words out of her mouth were "O you motherfucker". Hahaha! We had a laugh and I still had a gift card for her to a book store. Seems that she has changed my name to asshole for the time being. I'm going to be on my toes come Christmas and my birthday though.

  11. Well, I've asked and asked around here and the one that was up for grabs is long gone. Here's some possibilities to wet your whistle if you don't mind driving or maybe working out a halfway meet with the owners... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-Honda-CR-500-/120992266885?forcev4exp=true http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CR250-dirt-bike-/180986264397?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item2a239f3b4d http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-Honda-CR250R-/330802616518?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item4d055f58c6 http://charlotte.craigslist.org/mcy/3303171285.html

  13. If you can't take the heat, quit posting sh*t online from the kitchen. I'd think that the article doesn't really come as a shock to anyone here, but in my humble opinion, the first one to get use the "block" or "defriend" function over someone else's thoughts and opinions (no matter how wrong they are perceived to be) has the weaker mind. Similar to here and in Facebook -- feel free to share whatever floats your boat, but given the fact that you're SHARING it means you need to accept whatever positive or negative consequences of sharing it may come your way. For example: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=98525 I really didn't have anything negative to say about it/her/the effort, except that particular 'stipulation' didn't sit well with me. If you want a selective audience that will be nothing but 100% supportive of your thoughts, views, accomplishments -- then don't share it publicly. Otherwise, you need to accept the risk of getting the good with the bad. And need to "be the bigger man" to deal with the people, or trolls, or naysayers that don't share your opinions.

  19. Hello Columbus Racing, I'm Daren. I finally made it to a Cars & Coffee event last Saturday. Even though the turnout was pretty light, I really enjoyed hanging out with other car-crazy people like me. John and Taylor mentioned CR and told me to introduce myself in The Oven. Not sure how deep to go – but here goes. I've been in Columbus all my life and have been into cars since I could hold a matchbox car. Through college I worked at Hammond Electronics and competed in many car audio events and built an endless amount of systems for me and others. Today, I'm still a huge car buff – maybe even more so. Professionally, I'm a Graphic Designer / UI Designer at a local design agency. My car related skills are electronics, car audio fabrication, and styling. Here's a quick roundup of my custom vehicle history: My old Durango: My old Tahoe (featured on the cover of Stylin' Concepts catalog) My current Jeep SRT8 (outdated pics – need to shoot more soon) So that's me. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you and checking out your cars at local events! Thanks, Daren

  20. I have powdercoated small aluminum parts for a few people on here and have been asked to do wheels also. I haved turned down doing wheels mainly because i havent done them before. Steel spoked wheels i have done but PCing steel to me is way easier. Its just not as dirty. I would have hated to charge someone, have their wheels for a few days, in the end have them not like the finished product and have to get it done again someplace else. So here is my offer, I would do them for you for the price of powder (which i cant see taking more than a pound). Being a second set of wheels your bike isnt out of commision i could take my time and possibly learn a few things. In the end you could get your wheels PC'ed on the cheap and could look fantastic or they will get done on the cheap with a couple minor inperfections. If you wanted to get them re-done heck i would even give you your money back for the powder. Let me know if your up for it.

  26. My name is Alex and I'm living between Columbus and Athens (College). I'm currently driving a 2003 Nissan Sentra Spec V. It's got a long list of mods but it's fully bolted and cammed at the moment. It's sunburst yellow with 17x7.5 gramlights. bought it with orange stockers if any of you have seen it around columbus before. Keeping my eye out for a cheap b13 sentra for an sr20det swap else the Spec will be getting a turbo kit. My syndicate kustomz CF hood has been taken off and put back to stocked because vents in a hood are stupid in Ohio. Had to replace my alternator in my friend's lawn because of it. http://i49.tinypic.com/30a3wvt.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/2117w47.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/2lucbi1.jpg

  27. Man, I feel your (Browns fans) pain. Being a longtime Lions fan I know the feeling seeing your team do badly. But hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel. If the Lions can turn things around, so can the Browns.
