Interesting choice. Auto? (edit: I see a clutch lever) Definitely want to hear a ride report when it gets warm enough to ride it. Good on you, man. You will be paid back in spades with the rides you take with your dad. Some of my best memories are going for slow backroad rides with the 'ol man.3 points

We rode on thanksgiving day took him on a few local back roads that are more twisty than the stuff back home had fun. My father and I never had the best relationship growing up and that was partly (a lot) of my fault and hadn't spent much time doing the father/son thing until four years ago when I had my first child and realized the errors and reached out to my father to try to mend what I could and it was great. Now we have a common hobby and plan to do a lot of Deals trips and the BYOB 2013 ride. This hobby has given me way more than some people can understand.2 points

First of all I don't care about what people do to their own cars. Second, my son is only three and a half years old. So with that out of the way onto the story. This morning the wife wanted to go to Ikea in Cincy, so the son and I headed to the MB dealer near by to kill sometime. At the same time we pulled into the dealer an Black MB S class pulled in and parked right next to my van. As I and my son got out of the car I noticed that the car is just a regular S class but the guy put on an AMG badge in the back. I nodded to the driver and said nice car, as soon as I said that my son blurted out "silly AMG". The driver then asked my son "what you mean?". My son looked at him and said "only two exhaust" he then run to the back wheel and point to the brake caliper and said "no AMG". The dude got back in his car and drove off. I'm so proud of my little car guy.1 point

Awesome! Im all for any method that destroys the enemy without our troops getting harmed. Nothing sad at all. They engaged our troops. They deserved the splattering they got.1 point

I agree it is not ideal. I carry it as a backup or less lethal option while I'm CCW'ing. I carry it alone in places where I can't take my P226. No you don't get it. Part of claiming to be a "law abiding gun owner" means not committing felonies. If you want to carry in a state mandated CPZ then that's your business. Don't assume that people who want to remain in compliance with the laws are anti gun. How many anti-gun folks would give speeches at the Ohio statehouse in support of expanded CCW rights? I've done that. More than once. My speech was cited by the sponsor of the first amendment of CCW as being part of the reason he eliminated the "Citizens only" provision of the legislation. (the other part of the reason being another Brit who gave a speech that echoed mine). I have played my part in the pro-gun legislative process and know for a fact that my efforts have contributed in a demonstrable way to the liberalization of CCW rules. I have several guns and I CCW and have to scary black rifles that I use for home defense. I'm not scared of guns - never have been, never since being first trained in small arms handling by the military a quarter of a century ago. Yet despite this, you still maintain that I don't get it. I put it to you, sir, that is is YOU that doesn't "get it".1 point

dependency upon the government - that is what's being fostered. confiscating more from "producers" - DearLeader was trying to convince/condition/brainwash you that it is the right thing to do when he made his "...you didn't build that, the government did..." speech. After all, since "the rich" didn't do anything to earn the money they have, then it's OK for the government to take it from them and re-distribute it to those who don't have as much, right?1 point

Now mind you, many of those I'm glad he didn't actually follow through on, but definitely don't say he's just doing what he said he'd do. He has a long way to go before anyone can claim that. Now put that Kool Aid down. PS: I'm middle class. My taxes are going up a lot. I'd be okay with that if cuts vs new taxes was dollar for dollar. But taxing me to pay for social programs instead of making cuts is not helping the middle class.1 point

100 years or compromising has gotten us into this mess. It's time for trench warfare the sooner this happens the sooner we can start over. I hope they pass legislation banning guns with a mandatory turn in. It's time for this sleeping giant to wake its ass up1 point

WHAT? You can't possibly expect the rest of us to consider you pro gun; I find it comical that you are under such a delusional impression that it makes me sad for you. You are the agnostic fence sitter without any real convictions either way and think you can talk out of both sides of your mouth trying to pacify the two sides when in reality both of them hate you.1 point

And if this is how you talk to people who are pro gun then it is people like you who are going to get us completely banned. My scary black rifles are legal and I'd like to keep it that way. If that means helping find a real solution that preserves the 2a intact then so be it. Trench warfare is not a wnning strategy. (If you refuse to argue, then what are you doing right now? Arguing in your spare time? ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQFKtI6gn9Y1 point

Yes, I can say that with complete honesty. If a thief steals my car while I have it idling in the driveway and mows down a toddler with it, it's not my responsibility. I did nothing wrong, showed no malice or negligence, and the thief did every criminal act. Same with if someone steals my kitchen knives out of my drawer that's not bolted and locked, and stabs a pregnant nun. Thieves bear 100% of the responsibiliy, and guns are not "special evil objects", Magz. I reject your mindset, your methods, your philosophy and your goofy morality. It's bent, and wrong, and very liberal.1 point

Now that I've seen the pictures... Pityriasis rosea. Medically: cause unknown, although sometimes follows a respiratory infection. Usually goes away on it's own in 4-8 weeks. If you read the links, the time line of events sounds like what you were describing. The raised edge around the spot was the clue. 6% of cases are on extremities. It's usually on torso, and develops from a single spot, into a "Christmas tree pattern". That threw me until I found that 6% of cases were on extremities instead. Sunlight helps heal faster. Try to get some sunlight on the areas. Even an ultra violet lamp will work. Don't get a sunburn from the lamp. Avoid scratching and harsh soaps. The anti-histamine is for the itching. The change in the muscle is weird, and that was near the initial start area? WebMD Mayo ClinicMedicine Plus gov disclaimer: I am not a Doctor. I didn't even stay at Holiday Inn Express.1 point
