  7. Exactly the way I saw it. I am not going to pimp for them. If they recognize my genius and that I will be the best beta tester ever fine, if not f' them. I think the NUVIZ is going to be a better way to go....put it on any full or modular that you currently have....move it to the next helmet......plus it will be 500 to 600. I am hearing 2000+ for the Skully.

  8. there was another thread about this. I applied to be a beta tester. Basically they thank you for signing up, then tell you to pimp their product on facebook, twitter, etc. if you want to be selected. Not a bad marketing strategy, but likely more effort than it's worth for me. At least it is this week. I may feel differently when I'm riding to work daily.

  12. I work in a retail home improvement store a woman walks up to me with about 10 fiberglass driveway markers in her hand and asks why are these pointy on one end. Another woman is looking to buying a portable air tank I show her a 10 gallon tank and tell her it will hold 100lbs of air she says that is to big I can’t pick up 100lbs Another woman (I’m starting to see a pattern here) buys a 20 foot extinction ladder I take it out to her car there is no way it is going to fit in her car so I tell her she will need to get someone with a truck to pick it up for her She calls me a dumbass and she will load it herself so I watch her drive out of the parking lot with it sticking out of her back windows like and airplane wing If I had time I could fill this page up with stories like this.

  13. Very embarrassing night at the gym. First, I was preoccupied when I entered the building and accidentally walked almost all the way into the women's locker room. The entry way curves in a different direction than the men's (probably to alert idiots like me) so I caught myself and backed out. Only 1 person that I know of saw me do this and we had a good laugh. Then I discovered that you can't just leave your stuff in a locker, lock it and expect shit to be cool. "My" locker was empty when I found it. The guy at the desk explained to me that 1100 members have to SHARE the 120 lockers...This should have occurred to me beforehand. My $10 lock had been destroyed but most of my stuff was in a cardboard box behind the desk with a bunch of other people's stuff. After my workout and shower I realized that I had not brought a gym bag because duh, my stuff would be in my locker. My only option was to roll it all up in my towel and carry it out like the shameful hobo I am. At least I had a good workout.

  18. Down 60 pounds and 5" at the waist. Going to drop 15 more by race season to get back in my old leathers and give Turnone and Fireman343 a run for their money in OMRL this season.

  19. Joined planet fitness and started using the my fitness pal app a few weeks ago. Down 7 lbs. My goal is 190, started at 225. The app is great, you enter some basic info and it calculates your target caloric intake. It helps track what you eat by either scanning bar codes, searching their database or entering nutrition info manually. Charts nutrition, weight loss and exercise. You can earn more calories by working out, so if I'm near my limit and want to have a few beers I just hit the elliptical for a half hour or so after work. It's free and I recommend it to anyone trying to carve some bacon off their ass.

  20. Guns? We need to get those outlawed. All they do is cause people to get shot. Hell, I keep a "no guns" sign on my house to keep me and my family safe.

  21. Hello CR Community! My name's Johnny. I'm 27 years old, and I've lived in since 2006. I recently bought a 2007 R56 Mini Cooper S and its my first kind of sporty car, and I'd like to see what I can do to eventually bring a bit more sport out of it. I used to wrench on my old Honda, so I have a general idea of what I'm doing under a hood. I'm also trying to meet new people in the area to do stuff with. All my friends have either moved or already live out of town, and I'm not what you'd call and outgoing person so I use the internet to meet new friends and such. I hope to fit in well around here, providing my intro was decent enough.

  22. I probably work out and do more cardio a day then you. I teach ballroom and am a professional competitor. I dance all day long. I do home circuit training in my basement and before this snow I ran 3-5 miles a day. I have never felt better then on this diet. What I like best is when I go to bed I sleep and when I wake up I am ready to conquer the world. Don't try to be all high and mighty with your I eat right and exercise bullshit. Your body and work outs can plateau and it takes more to get better results.
