Hello all! Thank you for allowing me to join the forum. My name is Dan and I was lucky enough to finally capture my dream car recently. 02 ws6 Trans Am. I'm an electrician for a living. I've always been into cars but unfortunately my knowledge has gone down hill over the past 8 yrs or so. I've known about this forum for a long time (my brother is member) and have met a few of you in person on a couple different occasions. I'm joining to help revamp my knowledge and hopefully meet some more cool people who are into the same things cars and motorcycles. For those of you saying this is a bad or illegal stop, google 'Terry Stop'. I think the plate/DL information is more than enough for a Terry Stop. And yes, scanning the plates is legal. Just like I can take a picture of anything I see in public, he can look at your openly displayed plates and run them. In fact the case can be made that since they run every plate there is no bias or discrimination involved. This has been going on for a long long time, Ohio is late to the game.

Ok here's the deal, you ride abreast of them rev the shit out of engine and yell to each other at every stoplight soon there will be like 40 other like minded enthusiasts join your parade. If you have the right number of correct coupons you can become a hoarder for damn near free. I want to bring a trailer to the store fill it and have a bill of $50 like on t.v.

I have nearly 1000 people who would say that they report to me ultimately. Why would you hold me accountable for what one of them did on their own time? If you called me and told me that someone did something like that, I'd listen and turn on my radar, but there isn't anything I could or would do about it other than maybe say "hey, people connect you to me....".

I am more tired and sore from one track day at Nelson than from three track days at Jennings. WTF is up with the track condition? On the lighter side, I completed and passed the Race School! Woohoo!

I ran a half marathon yesterday. So right now, a marathon sounds like a terrible idea. In a couple days, I will definitely feel differently. At 3:46, you had a great run. My fastest half was only a 1:59.

My daughter shoots competitive archery. Guess what she shoots? Paper. When asked what she wants to do with this skill she says "I want to go to the Olympics". Not once has she said "to kill as many mother fuckers as I can". So there is a sport centered around a weapon designed to kill that the person honing that skill has no intention of harming anyone with it.
