Yep, what Ryan said, signal wherever you are to let people know you will be off pace and head to the pits. Eat something salty too, that tends to help.
drink more water Not much you can do IMO...if it is a race grit your teeth and deal with it...but being a track day I'd say signal and pull in (predictably). either shake it out as you roll through hot pit, lean the bike on the wall and actually stretch, or head in and force yourself to drink a couple bottles of water. In any case, when the session comes to an end, drink more water.
2 things I would like to point out. 1. Always signal when slowing or exiting the track regardless the reason. 2. CRs should always pay attention and choose easy passing places. With a vest on you are always held to a higher standard.
The immediate family on my side all have May birthdays (me - 3rd, mom - 18th, dad - 19th, and little sister - 27th). So we always hold a joint birthday party and cookout on Memorial Day weekend, rotating hosting it among the guests of honor. This year it is at our place so we are cooking out this afternoon and firing up the fire pit with family and friends tonight. Tomorrow we will rest easy and relax before heading back to the grind Tuesday. I am taking a break from some last minute yard details then planning on cracking open a well deserved brew and waiting for guests to arrive. Hope everyone has as much fun as we plan to this weekend! And we'll also raise a toast in honor of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of us didn't have to. .
