I have come across nozzles that do not auto-shut off several times although it's been a number of years since I've seen one and both times it was when I was fueling my car. I don't wait for the auto-shutoff when fueling the bike, I moderate the lever myself as needed.
Just chug a beer, yank your fuel line at the petcock, fill empty can with several ounces of "instant-boyscout", apply to wood laden firepit, light the mouth of the can and chuck it in.
Interesting article, but still fucking baffles me that people overfill their tanks to that degree that often.... Are you guys just putting the nozzle in and turning on the pump and setting the latch and forgetting about it? I seriously don't understand... I always look down into my tank while filling it so I can see when it's full, and I run the nozzle half flow so the gas comes out slower and doesn't splash little drops all over my paint... I can't think of any possible situation that would cause an overflow
Got pulled over, didn't get a ticket because I ask the cop "what state am I in?" because I honestly didn't know. made him laugh. Just handed my drivers license and told me to slow it down. I was in NC but not that far from GA.
Riding filled a huge whole in my life. I was happy but felt I was missing something, started riding and feel in love with it. i justvhste winter. As a bonus Hellmutt is happier too. I love it, and make better sammiches because I ride.
I think we logged 470 miles today and managed to get a hike in, rescue a stray dog, hang out in construction while completely ignoring half of the OR people who drove by, and ride the dragon at night, in the rain and fog with bugs caked to our visors. I'm proud of myself for not getting eaten by a bear.
lane splitting has speed restrictions out there, you cant go as fast as you fucking want.....i would lay blame on both and i think both should get cited (even though we know that most likely didnt happen) camera bike was being a douche and riding way too fast for stopped traffic, and police bike obviously wasnt paying any fucking attention my guess is the camera bike most likely got cited, especially after they took a look at the video
It is a shame that the article didn't end with..."the chase ended with meadows crashing and he was pronounced dead at the scene." Would save all of us some $ to prosecute/convict/jail him. & would be one less to give bikers a bad rap.
