  2. Starting a new thread for the trip, we leave in 20 hours. We will post pics, vids and reports of our progress and shenanigans in this thread. First, here is a link to my GPS tracker, so you can follow along. Keep in mind it only works if I remember to turn it on and I have cell coverage. I suspect we will drop cell often once we get out there. If you click on the route you will see speed, time, direction. I ran it a little this morning on the way to work so you get the idea. link removed And second, Friday evening some time we will be in Sturgis, we will be at one of the Sturgis webcams and intend to moon all of OR from Sturgis. We will post an ETA at the webcam sometime late Friday afternoon or early evening. Link for the webcam: http://rapidcityjournal.com/sturgisrallydaily/webcams/sturgis-street/

  11. Silver star does not give better light or brighter light. They don't last for shit in motorcycle or a car...6 months to a year tops in a bike. Find a Philips dealer near you and purchase the vision plus in your size and rejoice in the brighter clean light. They are not covered in blue or purple tint, and properly contrast the things you want to see. You can thank me later.

  15. Tracker works....pretty cool. Nobody wants to see your naked asses, it would be much better use of a Web Cam to find some girls to flash titties.

  16. IS250 would be my choice. Hell no to any GM product (full size truck and Vette excluded). Having 6 vehicles in 12 years doesn't really tell you much about realibility IMO.

  20. Glad to hear you got it resolved, there are some just plain bad service guys in our industry...not always criminal, just fucking half-assed parts swappers who don't know what they're doing. FWIW, if you ever do get a new system (or for anyone else) whoever puts it in should do a proper Manual-J (measurement of your house, efficiency & load) or they shouldn't be trusted to put in a battery in your t-stat. Proper sizing makes or breaks the system, and too many shitwits guess or over-do it and that's terrible for the equipment).

  21. Yes. We make our own monsters. From unnecessary and poorly executed medications and ramped up media hype. And ignorance. Then deny it, and blame it on something else other than ourselves.

  24. With all the TSB's on the all mighty ecoboost I would contact Ford and tell them you shouldn't have to pay to fix the issue. They should recall them to have the issues fixed. Sounds to me like the pcm update caused the plugs to wear out or carbon up faster, causing misfires. Therefor if it wasn't for fords pcm update you wouldn't have these issues to pay for.

  25. It's true, and is sad, and I've heard several people say it, not just the president. Fortunately, gun ownership is on the decline by household, fewer than 50% of households have guns now, gun owners are a loud minority.

  26. Fewer households with guns, more guns total, simple answer, minority of people holding large arsenals.

  27. No shit a complicated product came off an assembly line of thousands and thousands, consisting of millions of tiny parts brought together from the world over and sometimes they have some problems. The fact is Toyota's reputation for quality may not be what it was but it's still one of the best. Just like capitalism. That's just fuckin fact and you can argue until your blue in the face. That's the great thing about facts. For example, it doesn't matter if you believe the world is flat or not. It doesn't change the fact.
