Only when Pauly's driving it... Not because he's a bad driver, but because he doesn't care about the idiots that get in his way.2 points

I think I have a good plan for this trip. Friday after work truck the supermotos down to Snowshoe. Ride all day Saturday as far north as 33, load up drive over to Fayetteville stay the night. Ride all day Sunday. I wish I could make it a three day trip with all the good roads, maybe next year.1 point

Flat tax based on revenues for corporations and a flat tax based on personal income is as fair as it can get. One thing that gets lost in these debates is the ever increasing value of government expenditures. The expenditures should be capped to a % of GDP or current spending levels with an increase equal to inflation. With a fiscally responsible government, there is a deceased need for additional new taxes. The entitlements will also need to be addressed, as they are an ever increasing % of total government expenditures. Unless all of these items are addressed, they will make us a less competitive economy in the future.1 point

If I could start over from scratch, I would have a 20-25% corporate tax rate with no further loopholes. I would also want a team of union busters dressed as Imperial Storm Troopers.1 point

FODS 2015 Comes to Southern WV Routes All pavement routes Twisties South Loop http://goo.gl/maps/fVBnN Potts and Peters Mountains Turnabout http://goo.gl/maps/7W3HC New River Gorge Bridge by pavement http://goo.gl/maps/z6Oob Burke’s Garden by pavement http://goo.gl/maps/7sa2T Sights and Sounds Loop http://goo.gl/maps/8zt7X above are the routes that Denny had mentioned, but none of us seem to be able to view them on the FJR forums, but I found them on a different Yamaha forum.these are all south of the New River Gorge in southern West Virginia and western Virginia, and show some seriously twisty back roads connected with some more subtle roads. I really have to make it to the Back of the Dragon next year, and the route there (the 1st map link) that skips a lot of 16 southout of Beckley looks much much better than the portions of 16 skipped.1 point

Lots of Americans (let's call them democrats) have been screaming for corporations to pay more taxes and for CEO pay to be limited. All this will do is motivate corporations and talented CEOs to go elsewhere. Corporations have been doing the same thing between states for decades. Lots of companies choose to incorporate in Delaware for example. http://www.bizfilings.com/learn/incorporate-delaware-nevada.aspx Ohio on the other hand has some of the highest tax burden in the US (Income + property + sales tax + local tax), so why would a company choose to have operations in Ohio?1 point

agreed. JB's truck will indicate 18+ on the trip computer, but I think that's optimistic. I have never seen it surpass 20 mpg. if you're open to smaller SUV's with AWD, the 2012 Ford Escape with the 4 cylinder will get well over 20mpg. The I-4 revs more than I was used to from an SUV, but it wasn't noisy or anemic feeling. I suggest the 2012 because I believe that was the last year for that body style. The kinks were worked out with that design, and the prices should be lower now that the newer (Hyundai Tucson copy) body style is out, and available used.1 point

15 years with my company and later today I will be refusing a directive because I feel that it is incongruent with the mission/values/health of the organization. We'll see how this goes.... And insomnia sucks.1 point

I am loving the outrage on my Facebook feed over this one. I just can't even relate to the thought process that demonizes a 100% rational business decision instead of a tax code that incentived that behavior.1 point

First and foremost, and with all due respect....Rule of the road 1 - rearn two sprell. Rule of the road 2 - Proofreading. It will help you ensure your sprell chequer isn't bustimicated. Rule of the road 3 - Punctuation is worth it's weight in sentences, and helps others to know where those actually begin and end. Expected comprehension can only be as good as the information given1 point
