  1. My only tank bag has been the fuel ring locking type (BMW had a plastic tank, transferred it to the FJR) and I love it. It comes off fast and doesn't touch the tank. I like to empty my pockets and carry a drink and hat, and that's about all it holds.

  2. Exactly. And the excitement of building a business is different than the experience of running it after it's gotten to a certain size, even if it is profitable. Nothing wrong with cashing out, catching your breath and figuring out what you want to do in the next chapter of your life.

  3. Hopefully they keep Anthony doing the reviews and the Common Thread. I wish Iron Pony would improve their website, similar to Revzilla. I like to support the local stores. However, their website isn't very good

  6. Yes new the Odyssey is pricy, but you can pick up an off lease 2-3 years old under 36k miles for 24k to 30k depending on trim package. Drive it for 5 years or more and still get great resale. Have never bought a car new and never will, just doesn't make financial sense to take a 5-10k hit on something that depreciates over time. Honda certified gets you a 100k warranty plus the remainder of the new warranty. I would take a 2-3 year old Honda or Toyota over a new Chrysler for the same money every time.

  7. Assume you're referring to me? How am I "going down?" Your opinion along with all of the other HD riders / wanna be's means less than nothing. Hope you all crash and die in your own leaky oil. The World will be better off without you.

  8. The tank bag system of quick connect/disconnect is the brilliant way to go. Both Givi and Motech have this system, it is amazing and works so well.

  14. I am going to go ahead and say it... With kids a mini van is the way to go. More space than any SUV period, drives like a car, and road trips become a breeze. I know, a "min van"! Was like all the rest and said it would never happen, but after our third kid we were out of options. After a month I wondered why we did my go this way after the first kid. We have a Honda Odyssey and it may be the best vehicle I have ever had. Seats 8, gets 22-25 around town and 28-30 on the highway, and can haul as much 4x8 sheets of plywood as a long bed pickup. Tows 3500 pounds too. Would not look at anything but a Honda or Toyota.

  15. Chevy traverse, GMC Acadia, or Toyota Highlander. Pretty sure they all have sliding rear seats.

  16. Sometimes, even if you are profitable, it would be nice to sell the business. Hard to beat a fat check and a long vacation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Its all owned by a big investment firm. I wouldn't expect any major changes. They will streamline line it, cut costs a bit, boost the value and sell it.
