https://ohioriders.net/index.php?/membermap/ It's in the menu under "Community". Add your location, as detailed as you wish, by clicking the "Add Location" button just above the map on the right side. For instance, I simply put "Pickerington, Ohio" as my location. Change your location by clicking the "My Location" button. I will slowly be back-filling locations for those who don't set it with coordinates based on zip code only. You can delete your marker if you want. I've updated locations for all members who hadn't already set theirs and have more than 10 posts by mapping their zip to GPS coordinates. You can remove/modify your location at any time. I made it a ton easier for everyone. Now just update the zip code in your profile to change your location. Don't want your location shown on the map? Just delete the zip code from your profile. Easy peasy. You may notice a few non-member locations on the map already. Those are Jimbo's and Fontana Village. The idea here is that we'll add popular destinations to the map as time goes on. The ability for anyone to add a popular destination is coming shortly.3 points

Avon Cobra's. The choice of maniac cruiser riders everywhere. I ran the hell out of them on my previous two bikes. They wear very well, ride great and grip like a son of a bitch even in the rain. After my 8 inch sideways slide on the way to the dragon last fall I will probably put them on this bike. They were originally made for Wings, so they handle the weight and the speed in corners very well. Warning, keep the front inflated well. The front will cup in a heartbeat if you don't. http://www.avonmoto.com/products/cruiser-touring-custom/cobra They have a 130/80 for the front. And a 190/60 for the rear. If it will fit that rear will fix a couple of miles an hour on your speedo which I will bet is reading 3 mph fast on the freeway. It is about 3/4 of an inch wider, which will look baddass and make your dick bigger. Size calculator comparison gizmo: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.do Modz, lock this thread. The correct advice has been given.2 points

Eventually I'd like to get on the track for street skill development. Parking lots, round-abouts, and a few curvy roads only go so far. I figure I should get out to Mid-Ohio and start with some spectating. Question is, do I just show up on a track day? Is there an entrance fee? When is the best time to go? Beyond that there's the issue of not having a suit. Is a two-piece textile set reasonable at noob speed, or would it only be as protective as riding in really nice underwear?1 point

not to derail but I do have to throw in my obligatory plug... Sign up for the STT forum... there is an amazing wealth of knowledge on there with great forum stickies with FAQ and so on... plus! STT does Raffles for Free track days for those people whom have NEVER done a track day before!1 point

I use pee pee pads instead of litter. Shave cat in spring and brush in winter I clean my house to get rid of loose hair I don't waste money on silk table cloths Put clothes and other items away Check rooms Teach them not to get on the counters Stop smelling it's butt... Give it some attention and it will stop trashing the house.1 point

Food thieves reply would be. I have also place some laxatives in some of the food in the fridge. I am also not telling you what they are Have a nice day.1 point

Come down to mid-o....show up by 8:30 and make the riders meeting to get a feel of how a day goes. Tons of places to spectate and when you get tired of running around, come hang in the pits and bs with the riders. leather 1 pc is the way to go. Keep an eye out for used suits, some are not that pretty, but as long as there are no holes, stitching is in good shape and the thing fits....thats all that really matters IMHO.1 point

no small displacement groups... just go in the slowest group and see how it works out.. PLENTY of people run 300s and have a blast.. if you textile 2 piece only attaches in the back with a zipper about 12-16 inches long and nothing on the sides and front that will not cut it1 point

You'll meet in the garage after each session for help, advice and lots of good teaching from very knowledgeable ppl .1 point

If you go to Mid-Ohio,which I would definitely recommend. Put yourself in a slow group of Novice at first. My novice group was running very fast 2nd session out.1 point

your question didn't get separated to well... if you want to go up to mid ohio on a track day to spectate... its free just have to sign a waiver at the gate saying you wont go on track.. then you can walk around the pits see what people are doing even as people questions (assuming you being nice and they are too) most people like helping new people... then you can walk around the track in approved areas and see how the 3 groups are riding... as far as RIDING at at track day yes there is a Fee depending on how early you sign up before the event... around 190 to 220ish I believe for the full day, you can sign up online or on call mid ohio and sign up that way.. you HAVE to start in novice class.. this is for yours and everyone elses safety as you learn the ropes.. it will include class room time and riding time... 20 mins every hr from 9am to 5 pm with lunch break... coaches will instruct you in the class room as well as what your doing on track last I checked a 2 piece textile was acceptable with a 3/4 waist zipper but I would check with them on that to be sure. Leather is preferred of course.. other requirements include a full face non modular helmet, gauntlet gloves and over the ankle boots for novice.1 point

I can't speak for all of Pekin's clients, but I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Cheapest premiums I could find on big limit policies. I had a pretty severe front side impact claim on my truck last year that they paid without question. $8k claim paid in full to the bodyshop of my choosing, and never questioned me about anything but the circumstances behind the accident. So they've got my business until I can find a reason to search elsewhere1 point

Those are stock on most of the newer Kaw cruisers. Universally hated by everyone. Ride like poo and wear out really fast. I threw my rear right the hell away after only 4000 miles. My only regret is not doing a massive burnout before I swapped it.1 point

Meeting with the guy this evening...probably pick up this weekend. No supermoto conversion...as Tim stated this bitch is getting dirty. I might have to make some trips to Wayne after I sort out which trails are suited for bikes. I'd really like to take a trip out west (likely CO) in the next few years and take this and the Tenere. Cruise the mountain roads and hit the back trails. It's on my bucket list at least.1 point
