  2. Yeah I'm lucky though. Never had a flat on the road. Gonna invest in a good tire plug kit and maybe tire pressure monitors

  5. Good seeing everyone. Almost exactly 300 miles total Sorry to whoever I cut off leaving the gas station (if I did cut you off, couldn't tell). I thought we were leaving in two separate groups and I was trying to get out with my group. My bad. Thanks for a great ride @NinjaDoc. That was fun. Thanks @Tpoppa for the pointers.

  9. You owe them 7800 if your name was on the loan. That wont go away unless you file BK. It will go down if they take and sell the bike but a repo does not make the remaining balance go away. If you can afford the new bike, you can afford to pay them.

  10. I've ripped out roots for areas that the tree was sucking too much water and all the other plants would die. Tree usually lives.

  11. Look further ahead while riding. Don't stare at the road 15 feet in front of the bike.

  17. The original key for my Kawasaki Vulcan 750 had developed a slight twist to it. I called around to several places in the area and found one that had the blanks. I suggest you call first, not all locksmiths carry all the blanks for motorcycles. The place is called Securetech Inc and it's located at 755 US-42 in Mason, south of Tylersville Road. It's behind the wallpaper outlet (really behind, you can't see it from the street you have to drive behind the buildings). Phone number is 513.459.9914 I just want to say they did a great job for me. The key was twisted just enough that they wound up using the key code on the original to cut me a new key for the cost of a copy. It's scary how fast someone with the code can cut a key. Their prices seem in the ballpark with copies for my bike costing $3.75. With the start of the ride season I'm sure there will be plenty of keys that need to be made. If you're near Mason, Ohio I can recommend this place.

  18. If this occurred about 11 P.M how could the driver not see headlights coming at her?? They always blame the motorcyclist first. Idiot drivers turn left in front of me on a regular basis around here whther I'm in my car or on my bike. I always ride with my eyes scanning everyone at intersections.
