This one is a little different.... Two Different Versions.... Two Different Morals OLD VERSION The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.. Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold. MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself! MODERN VERSION The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving. Fox, MSNBC and CNN show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so? Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.' Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Pat Robertson then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake. President Obama condemns the ant and blames George W Bush and the Republicans for the grasshopper's plight. Glen Beck exclaims that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and calls for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. Finally, the Democrats in conjunction with the Republicans draft the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government and given to the grasshopper. The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful, neighborhood. MORAL OF THE STORY: It doesn’t matter who you vote for!!2 points

Blue GSX-S1000 with a Black/White speed and strength riding jersey. I'm guessing that it will be the only GSXS again this week. Off of the bike is TBD. I'll have to see what is clean in the laundry basket. I'll PM you before I leave. Am I the only one who feels like a dirty old man checking out the flag girls? Messed up an easy U-turn last week.1 point

Cat spotted him, I stomped him with my foot, grabbed a shovel and beat the hell out of him and tossed him in a bucket of water. Then I named him Casper.1 point

That was the first new motorcycle I ever bought. Sold it with almost 40k on the clock. Needed only gas oil and tires. A young kid bought it and promptly totaled it.1 point

Those are some great roads. Here's a trip report from 2014 with some road conditions and comments related to some of the roads on your map. Thought it might be useful. I have a 3 day WV trip planned in a couple weeks. I'll post details on road conditions afterward. Day one starting from Marietta. 47 16 39 219/55 47 was a good connector route and got us warmed up. 16 is a very twisty road. There were times that I was hoping a straight would be coming so I could rest. Road quality is a huge hodge podge. Kind of rough up north, then you'd hit nice pavement, then you'd hit brand new pavement then back to rough. It was really all over the place. The rough parts could be bone jarring but not impassable so I'd still recommend the road, just be cautious in the bad parts. 39 was fun and in decent shape from what I could remember. 218/55 were also in good shape and had some really nice sections. Day 2 from Elkins 33 south. It was so much fun we turned around and did it again. Southern part of 33 is amazing. Lots of new pavement and if it wasn't new, it was in great shape. 33 is a must!!!! from 33 to 28 - ok connector road but not as curvy as I thought it would be. It was interesting though as you were riding between the two mountains so I would call it scenic. 28 to 250 south - 250 was a very good road. I definitely want to do the whole section at some point. I was worried about road conditions and found this part to be completely fine so I would think the other sections in this area are probably OK as well. 250 to 220 - 220 was really not that exciting. We were actually pretty mellow on this road and of course, this is where we get tickets. A speeding ticket for both of us and passing on double yellow for me as a bonus. Thank you Virginia! After this joyous detour, I wanted to get out of Virginia as soon as possible so we picked up 39 north. What a nice road!! Freshly paved in most spots and just really twisty. I would have enjoyed it even more if we hadn't just gotten the darn tickets but it was really fun. 39 is another must route. Took 39 to 92 and then over to Beckley. We almost ran out of gas in this area and GPS tried to take us down a crazy road. There were lots of adv tour type of roads in this area for those that might be interested. Day 3 From Beckley heading back to Marietta 41 to 19 to 60 Over to 61 16 36 14 41 is a dump. The road quality is beyond poor. They had neon red circles and lines all over the road highlighting pot holes and other deformities. Felt like I was at Nelson Ledges but worse. Until they pave this thing, I would avoid it. 61 near Deepwater is a blast!!!!!! Brand new pavement and just wow! Good times. Keep in mind, unless you are on an adv tour bike, you will need to go to the town to cross the river. We tried heading over to another crossing and the road was crazy bad. I think the town is Montgomery? 36 is a pretty fun road. There are several parts that are freshly paved. It's a really nice north/south route. 14 is a decent connector road. Decent amount of turns and pavement is good for the most part although there are some bad spots.1 point

FWIW, the problem is solved... An Amish employee here at my plant has a side business building strip built canoes and kayaks. Just about everyday, this poor soul wreaks of resin. I shared my tale of woe with him, and his suggestion was simply, "sand it out". As he suggested, I started with 120 grit and lightly sanded all the sticky surfaces. The paper gummed up fairly quickly, but after 2 pieces, the entire surface of the resin coated duct was sanded and no longer sticky. Again, following his suggestion, I did all the needed sanding to smooth down edges and develop a consistent white-ish surface, after which I cleaned it well using a small amount of acetone on a rag. Next I mixed a small batch of resin, using 1.5x the recommended hardener. Working quickly, I painted another coating of just resin on the sanded surfaces. He said to keep painting on layers until the resin starts to thicken and at that point, stop.I checked the project this morning and the fresh layer of resin was only a little tacky. It will sit in my 90+ degree workshop until mid day when I'll move it out into the sun.1 point

Most democrats today are not patriotic and even their messiah obama did not wear a flag on his lapel until he was called out on it. I find that their rally cry should be either...... I G M or Y G Y N G M M..........I Got Mine or You Got Yours Now Get Me Mine They don't really care about the country.....just what they can reap from it.....Unlike JFK who asked just the opposite of his party and the country in general. Don't even get me started on millennials !1 point

I've seen more good come from this game than from any other that has come out in recent years. I've moved my cardio from the gym to pokemon GO, I walked 22 miles in 3 days because of this game. The gf and I are looking into bicycles to start using to get stops and get outside more in general. The fact that you don't need to stare at it the entire time is great too, just turn your volume up or have 1 ear bud in and it makes specific sounds for things in game. People are taking those lures ($1 in the apps store and also given as rewards at certain levels) and placing them on locations in hospitals for the people that can't go outside. Using the game as physical therapy tool for kids. People are downloading other apps that donate money based on how much you walk and helping random charities. Stories of people meeting in parks and local food places selling food in the park to benefit from the sudden gatherings and people buying food for the homeless that are in the parks are becoming more common. Viral images of "while your out catching pokemon take a bag and clean up litter" and kids setting up water/snack stands to sell to people walking down the streets are constantly on my newsfeed. Now if only they could get the servers to not catch fire every hours.1 point
