  1. I ran into a gent at work this week who lives on SR145 just north of Lewisville. He informed me that it has been repaved from Lewisville (SR78) to Malaga ((SR800). He also thought that 556 and 536 were going to be repaved before winter. A quick look at ODOT District 10 website seems to confirm this. Looks like a repave is planned for 556, 536, most of 255 and 145(already done). Link to ODOT map. http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D10/2016construction/Documents/Monroe County Projects.pdf Hope this gets done before the end of the riding season. The drilling/fracking has cooled of for now so hopefully this lasts for a while.

  2. Bought a '16 Versys at IP about a month ago...added a 16 tooth sprocket, lighter outlet, heated grips, handguards, aux fuse block, aux lights, Givi easylock bags, spools, gps mount. My favorite Versys so far....Better suspension/handling, little more power down low, less vibes, better windshield and ergo's...long term plan on Givi Trekker Outback side cases...

  5. I figured I would get this thread started to see how many of us will be riding together down to the Epic meet spot in Logan. Meet spot will be the same as the spring ride, the Minit Mart gas station on the corner of 83 and 250 in Wooster. Address is 825 Dover Rd., Wooster, Oh. 44691. It's about 2.5 hours to Logan from here, I figure meet at 7:00 AM. Kickstands up by 7:30. This will put into Logan around the 10:30 meet time, of course that will depend on gas stops, fog, etc.. I will be riding down with Derek and Whaler. We can also pick up some of you southern peeps as we pass through.

  6. So I've been wanting to make this trip all summer and yesterday I finally got to do it. @thompsonian, his uncle, and I all left yesterday morning from Parkersburg to make an epic one day loop through some West Virginia mountains.Weather was perfect, low traffic, and no phone signal. Couldn't ask for more. My total mileage for the trip was 427 miles, but they were awesome miles. Here are some pics from the trip.

  7. Very nice, I had a feeling u would come back to the versys, always loved this bike. Was almost ready to get one before ending up with vstrom just because of a better deal. Versys is more sporty and fun that the Vee and better bike for the non adv touring guys like me.

  8. Vote for Derek, if he was a moderator he would have changed the meet up time before anyone asked!

  15. Early reporting was fucked up. Since that early December confusion reports came out that multiple 30-round mags inside, spent rifle brass, coroner says all wounds from rifle, blah blah blah. There's no conspiracy - there's no official report yet. All there is so far is shitty early reporting and conflicting reporting at that. We knew just as much (and it was all wrong) about Aurora and Columbine at this stage of the game. Enough with the infowars bullshit.
