  1. I also live in the a Zanesville area.Another problem for me when it comes to the gas saving argument ...I work in several different locations east of Zanesville. My morning commute is usually 30-40 miles. For some strange reason my evening commute stretches to 150-200 miles.

  4. I was once on a certain airplane ( as a result of getting connected through every major airport on the east coast of Australia to get home 1 hr earlier than my original ticket) 10 rows from the Dalai Lama. For his in flight movie he was watching, A Good Day to Die Hard

  5. There are so many trumpets at the track now days, they could start a marching band. I was the odd man out last year on the striple (there was 1 other triumph there that day and it was also a tracked out striple). All daytonas now... hell, I had twin '15s in my novice group. Also, welcome to the hipster brits club Nivin. Hope to see you at the track next year. I'm sure there will be tea, crumpets and a flannel shirt waiting for you upon your arrival.

  8. Prior to my current career I was an x-ray tech for a short period and that is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Mis-reading the size and location of something complex like a tumor or a bleed is pretty common. Thinking no tear is a full release tear which results in totally unwarranted surgery? Wow. The very minimal thing I would do is get another doctor and not let that one ever touch me again.Even if the Radiologist made the mistake and not the doctor he had to see the scan and had some idea. On a lighter note happy the injury wasn't as bad as you thought. Some good rehab and you might be golden.

  16. I'm a little concerned about keeping up, but much more so about my ability to endure riding an unfaired bike with a narrow seat for that many hours. I know I won't stay with the group on the freeway. The 400 will do 80 but I don't like holding the thumper at nearly WOT for long stretches. 70 is more my choice for a freeway cruising speed. However I think the SM will handle the twisties as well or better than any touring bike and can keep up with any sane speeds on 2 lane roads. Worst case I will have the routes in my GPS and meet you all at the hotel I usually ride solo so its no big deal to me if I can't hang. I think the only stretch of freeway we have is at the end of the first day. I will just let the big bikes stretch their legs and take my own time to get to the destination. Really I'm just looking for an excuse to go ride some great roads down in that area. I won't be disappointed if I can't stay with the big bikes and I hope noone will make any special effort for me. I know I am choosing a somewhat inappropriate tool for the task so I do not want that choice to impact others. Craig

  17. Oh snap, that sucks. Now you not only have to deal with the original injury but the extras that come with being cut open. Not sure how a Dr could completely misread an MRI that badly. A completely torn ligament/tendon should be easy to spot to the trained eye...I can see if it was only partially torn maybe. The last few times I had MRI's the technicians at the MRI place interpreted the MRI and sent the images and their diagnoses to the Dr and then the Dr also read and interpreted it so at least 2 sets of eyes looked at it. He's probably shitting himself right now expecting a lawsuit.

  18. Good news at at least, this is why asked about previous injury or some kinda autoimmune ds history etc. it's hard for full tear without a very significant trauma. Anyways it's good news hope to see you soon on the streets

  21. And the bike itself. I drive a lot. Like twice as much as the average driver. Since March, 2015, I have spent less than $2500 on gas for the Corolla. That's 35,000 miles worth of driving for less than $2500... initial cost of the bike will almost certainly kill any fuel savings unless gas goes back to $4/gallon, and he rides a TON.

  23. Just to point out that this show definitely takes its own creative liberties and I wouldn't take anything from this show as fact. This was not signed off by Harley-Davidson. Oddly enough, Budweiser is the official partner for this mini-series, not Harley-Davidson. Having said that, I am all for this show. If it gets more people interested in two-wheels and into the market, I'm all for it. Who cares if it's a little off in the history or timeline? As long as it helps get new people into dealerships to move bikes whether it's H-D, Indian, Euro or Japanese, it's a win for all of us.

  25. And here I thought coming up with a steal vs LeBron and playing a couple weekends with him on an AAU team was an awesome story. Then again when you've been around this Earth for 110 years, your bound to have more stories than us youngins

  30. Not going to split cunt hairs with you because you thrive on e-thuggery and pointless arguments. If you admit to a judge that you broke the law chances are you will be found guilty.

  31. Eh... the job of the magistrate is to apply the law. The law says no plugs. I highly doubt standing in front of him and explaining that you broke the law because it's bullshit would move him.
