  1. https://services.dps.ohio.gov/MotorCycleOhio/Pages/Public/Announcements.aspx As of right now, there are 4 seats left in a class next week at the Cuyahoga Community College in Parma. That looks like the closest location to Ravenna. I'm a coach for the program as are a few other members on OR so if you have any questions or issues getting registered, please post up.

  2. They don't even need to allow access to the entire infield. The infield is pretty narrow, but a bridge to the old T5/T6 hill on the infield with some grandstands would be awesome. You could see down most of the old "North" Track and a good portion of the new track as well.

  4. I have a couple that are going in the trash....this one wasn't on my bike(and not my video), but it still nearly caused me to lose the front end through T7. I've been hearing about these things failing more and more. Don't risk it, don't ride with a K&N filter, on the track or on the street.

  6. Awesome, you are a wise man. You will learn lots, and have a blast. Afterwards check with your insurance company. Several offer discounts if you take the class.

  7. My .02 on 555. It was great once past the 2 one lane traffic lights out of Zanesville to 37. Sure there are some blind corners and some gravel but overall I thought it was a great road you just have to know what you're up against. 37 to Chesterhill pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned. It is rough. I wish I would have ran 37 over to 377. I will for sure next time unless it's been paved. On a positive note they were repaving south of Chesterhill up until 676.

  8. Tonik, if you're taking 83 south out of Millersburg, check to make sure the road construction / closure just south of 93 isn't still there. We were on our way to the Muskie Bucket on 83 this past Tuesday and had to detour down 93 because 83 was closed.

  11. I wouldn't put the bridge or spectator area anywhere in the run off of T1.....think we have all ended up out there at one point or another lol

  12. Had a blast taking the msf course but I took mine privately since all the classes were full in the spring. They teach basics. Didn't really see anymore classes listed but you can check yourself. I should take an advanced course next year. It's worth it.

  16. Sounds like a plan. Yea with the group size might make for a tighter time restraint.

  17. Just glanced at the map for Saturday and maybe its been talked about already but do you think there is time to do 421(The Snake) and stop at the Shady Valley Country Store then just shoot up 91 to321 to J.C. would cut out some freeway and hit a couple nice roads.

  18. Sunday will be prep day for me, bike, packing ect.. I'll study the routes and put the hotels in my GPS but I'm not worried about not having the exact routes on me. Been on all those roads multiple times and even if you get off track the alternative routes are usually just as good. Sometimes for me getting lost and fining new roads and alternate routes is part of the fun. I don't for see needing any parts or things for the bike this weekend she usually ready to roll at a moments notice.

  20. Tier10 - Yes, we're crazy. But the MSF training is a truly great idea. You seem sold on the idea. I'm not sure how much you looked into it, but the season is ending soon. I think they have sessions this weekend and next and then seem to be finished for the year. Surprisingly they still have openings. Looks like they opened multiple classes. If you don't happen to take it this fall, please consider taking it next year anyway. You'll pick up a lot of good info. Chris

  22. Be smart and safe on your ride. Been quite a few cage/bike related incidents down this way lately. Would hate to see another.

  23. +2 for MSF. I took the course and it waived me taking the on bike license test at the DMV. Not to mention the plethora of useful information they taught. Do they still offer classes where they supply the bikes? If so, that's the one I'd do and what I did. That way if you drop the bike, it's not yours getting the damage.
