  1. Still making progress, down to 261. I've been adding some more weight training into my workout schedule. I can now run on the elliptical longer and at a faster pace with the same resistance. My goal to be at 250 by New Years is gonna be close, but I'm gonna try like hell to get there.

  5. The point of the 35% corporate tax rate isn't to collect the taxes. The goal is to discourage corporations from sending jobs to other countries & bringing back jobs that have already left. Environmental laws do put us firms at a disadvantage, since countries like China do not follow them. I think you will see tarifs on goods from countries with low wages and lax regulations. It will be a fight in Washington for sure. If it succeeds, our prices will go up and so will our wages.

  6. You guys are a bunch of girlie men. Just go, worry about the consequences later. In my quest to win the 2015 "Father of the Year Award" i managed to miss Easter, my son's birthday, my wife's birthday, mothers day and labor day to go to the track. Set precedence early on, by doing so it will just be accepted that your not going to be there on some recognized holidays, birthdays and such. Keep in mind that your family or significant other will probably reach a saturation point. Early warning signs are fiberglass insulation in your underwear or your tooth brush placed on or near the toilet. Take it from me gents my balls might itch like hell and my tooth brush may taste like shit.........but I'm going to Road Atlanta.

  8. Took a couple extra days but I made it into the 30's. 238.7 lbs when I did a weigh in this morning, 9 lbs. to my next goal by Jan 7th.

  13. Ordered a new elliptical for the home gym. Went with the Proform Endurance 720E. Looked at a crap load of used ones on CL and people either want almost new price for them or they are cheap abused pieces of crap. So spent a little more and went the new route. Got it for about half price, free shipping and 6 months no interest. Mainly ordered it for the wife since she HATES the treadmill but it will be nice to have something else for me to try.

  14. I know loosing 4.5lbs in one week is a tall order but I missed it by .9 lb. Kinda disappointed in myself. maybe I should have skipped the carb plater at the waffle house Saturday night.

  18. Hitting it real hard this week not being on overtime. Not going to weigh myself till Monday morning but I was 244 this Monday morning. Calories at a minimum and a hour of cardio every evening and throwing some weights around every other day. Back on OT next week so I need this week as a kick start.
