  1. I love mine. Every bike is different but on mine he lowered the back of the seat but kept the area in front stock height in order to fix the sliding into the tank issue. I was concerned about it being lower but since it now pivots my hips to more upright it made it soooo much more comfortable and took away almost all pressure points. Check out is web site and FB page. He has lots of pics of his work. http://www.terryscustomseats.com https://www.facebook.com/Terrys-Custom-Seats-150069175036324/

  4. PRICE DROP $1500 I have a Suzuki bandit for sale or trade. I picked this up last fall as a project ( typically try to get one project a year) and this one turned out beautiful. So beautiful i have put most of my miles on this bike! New parts include new complete clutch (EBC), rebuilt carbs, fixed some oil leaks brakes serviced. Other miscellaneous things im forgetting. Bike runs perfect, has 31K miles on it. Aftermarket Corbin seat. I am getting roughly 45mpg from it. Sounds amazing with the Two Brothers Full Exhaust system. Its got that sport bike sound that makes any crappy day, go away. This bike is For sale OR ill trade it off. Im interested in other projects. Such as another bike that needs work. Vintage Honda stuff, Off road quads and what not. Message me and let me know what you got. I also have cash to boot, for the right deal. And ill take cash in, on a trade. I'm really flexible here. I can deliver if needed. . You would be very hard pressed to find a great running bike, that looks this good for less than 2k.

  6. Not a fan of bandits. As stupid as it sounds, I have to like the looks of a bike to buy it.

  7. He said his seats are usually 1 inch lower than stock. I have the same issue. Tried a Russell and it was a little tall for me.

  8. We used to shoot the destructive furry little bastards (groundhogs, not protesters) along the runways. Set up a lawn chair with a nice varmint rifle and a cooler of cold beverages and take their heads off when they popped up out of a hole. The port authority was very greatful and it was lots of fun. Of course, this was pre 9/11.

  11. The great news is, I think the XRL is pretty much unchanged since 1993 so parts are plentiful and generally cheap. Very easy to work on too...no valve shims and easy to access. I hate valve shims.

  13. Ha, I just saw that one as well and was going to post it. XR650L's are street legal from the factory so unless somewhere along the way the title was lost and resissued as an off-road vehicle, it should be good to go. Ohio is one of the easiest states to street title an off-road vehicle so don't let that stop you.

  16. Not much signal going on inside this panel, mostly on/off switches for different pumps and exhaust fans. There is a PID controller that fires an electric heating element through an SSR, but the signal is just 12vdc pwm, not much to interfere with. Also, thread jack complete.

  17. This generational classification thing eludes me. Supposedly there is a specific date that divides the generations but I call bullshit on that. The change is more dynamic than discreet.

  18. He employees a 100 people, is a leader in his industry and is rich as hell, living in LeBrons neighborhood in a paid for 1.2 million house. Pool is almost done, paid cash for that too. The Tesla and Navigator are also paid for And he has a heart of gold and will help anyone anytime. He votes and does not riot. And did three tours in the sandbox. I did a great job.

  19. I was born in 84, so there is some debate over which generation I actually belong to... I experienced the world before the Internet was widely used, I was around before cell phones were common... But these were certainly common after I reached my teenage years. But you're absolutely right about who is to blame. If gen x or boomers are pissed, then Millennials should've had better parents. Also, this happens every generation. "Kids these days" is a phrase uttered by every generation about the next.

  20. It depends on what you want it for. They were marketed as supersports, but they are not proper supersports. It a fine motorcycle in other roles though. The looks don't seem to work for everyone.

  21. I'll grant you anomalies, great parents can raise a shitty kid, shitty parents can raise a good one, but if your position is that a whole generation is shit, it's the generation raising them that didn't do their job.
