No Dennis you earned your screen name, it is yours forever. I call Dibs on your Camero, but I hope you never sell it. Bike is epic. Needs a good cleaning and polish. Other than that it is perfect. Dennis actually had it cleaned and lubed... ready to go. I love this thing. It is exactly what I need for a second bike.9 points

Well, in his defense he had some dude on the phone that was complaining about getting wet in the rain while on a motorcycle.4 points

@whaler and I just left. The MRI came back ok. No physical brain damage. But that does not indicate what brain activity there may be. Thet did so an EEG when he first got there. He is still sedated and the family expected to meet with the doctor this evening. Beyond that I dont have much to add.3 points

Transaction complete,he's on his way home. I'll let him describe it ! I'm without a bike now,but hope to eventually get back into it even though I'm 70. My first bike in 1971 was a Honda 2 cyl 350, many camping trips to the Allegany park in PA. Second bike in 1975 was a Honda CB550 4 cyl. Third bike was a 1980 Suzuki 750E,tremendous low end torque, raced it at Dragway42,it was rated as 12.5-12.3,I managed to get it into the 11.90s'. Had it for 25 years. The fourth was the now gone Yamaha FZ6,incredibly light, agile and comfortable but torque and horsepower occurred too high for me,it was the fastest bike I ever had. When I get back into it,the Harley street 750 would probably be it,more low end power for my type of use. Do I have to change my screen name now ?3 points

You order as many tires as you want, and I'll install them for free, just so we can stop having a damn tire thread.3 points

The real issue is how are you going to carry a few boxes of donuts on the new ride. I want to see your top case off the cruiser on the FZ.3 points

That is exactly what prompted my question. Just needed to make sure Roossios were not a pure sport tire. 20 bucks extra for a newer tire while supporting MIKE is a no brainer.2 points

I know, I chowed on bacon and ribs (no sauce) when I was doing low carb and the weight came off. It's crazy. In the 80's it was FAT MAKES YOU FAT!!! STOP EATING FAT!!! So they took out the fat and replaced it with sugar and everyone got fat2 points

got my new JT sprockets and (gold) DID X ring chain from @RidersDiscount, debating on how best to get them installed. Mike assured me that the gold chain added horsepowers over the silver or black.1 point

Rosso / on a spectrum would mark like this > Track tire <--------- X ---------------> Touring tire lot of reviews about center wearing out fast but very good grip for occasional track days S20 had little bit more to give but pretty much the same deal as rosso the other sport touring tires mentioned here would lie more towards the touring aspect that track to make things simpler on you, you choose the cheapest you can get for the fz6 as of now which as far as i see are two options for you, get rosso from mike since he is the only good guy in forum. Or get the s20 close out which looks like 30 bucks cheaper but a 2014 make. you have bucket list of track day planned, i say just go ahead with either of the above. And next set you can do more Rehirosearch and contemplatyoshing1 point

Very few, if any, riders on this board can out ride a modern ST tire on the street. The handing/turn in won't be quite as quick as good SS rubber, but there is plenty of grip for street operating temps. I thought PR2s and PR3s were really good. I burned through 3 or 4 sets of each. When the PR4 came out I switched over to Angel GTs...I'm about to mount my 6th or 7th set. No complaints at all with the GTs. Even though I've not had good experiences with Dunlop tires, I'm intrigued by the new Road Smart 3. I may give them a try next.1 point

Trailer is hooked to the truck, race bag is packed with gear...now just to get through this Friday!1 point

Go with the Rosso II's from RD. They are on special for 199 shipped... you can't really beat that price. S20's are great, Angel GTs are great, T30s are great, they are all great. I don't see you doing a ton of wet riding (or spirited wet riding at that) on the sport bike so I wouldn't worry about that too much. I've ran a T30 rear and a S20 front and enjoyed that combo. Now I'm running S20 Front/Rear but I'm losing a lot of life in the rear. These straight roads aren't helping... neither are the burnouts.1 point

Wish we could all just get a grip. Country's become quite unhinged as of late. We need to start getting along again or we're fucked. This Libtard v Repuglican crap is really bullshit. I would like to think that most of us are more centered. I know I am.1 point

Well had a little accident today. Got off the ferry in Burlington and was making our way through town when we were stuck behind a car turning left on a 4 lane. I told Justin on the coms if you are clear to go to the right lane and get around, go for it. So he went and I attempted to follow. Shame on me for not looking for myself but I pulled right out on front of a lady in a Nissan. She braked hard and blew her horn but it was too late, the front corner of my bag and rear corner panel of her car hit. Didn't go down but it caught my bag, foot and peg. Totally my fault. We pull over and inspect the damage it scuffed my bag on the front edge and rear edge and slight scuff on edge of my peg. Her car had a scratch from the wheel well clear to the corner of the rear bumper. She got her bitching out at me and I agreeded with her. I ask what do you want to do? Im okay with it if you are. She said yes that was fine. I ask again. Are you sure your cool to doing nothing about it and she said, yes. I said thank you and I'm sorry and we parted ways. Her car was a older car kind of banged up to begin with and both car and bike were silver so paint trading was unnoticeable. So it could have been worse she could have nailed me from behind but luckily she was paying attention. She also reminded me of somone that didn't have insurance or maybe even a license too do maybe that's why she didn't want to call the leos. So another scar on the old 14 and another story to tell.1 point
