I've managed to get the RGV together after 5 years of restoration. I just may get to go for a ride on it sunday. I got The carbs on the RZ cleaned and sorted. Sounds MUCH better than when I took delivery. The requested audio clips of both for you 2smokers :-)
this is all you need:
i've never had three. buying a set of tire irons would be cheaper than paying somebody else to do it, and you have the irons afterwards.
forty minutes.
These are great prices I've been needing another for a while and even Bell trackside at our MA rounds couldn't do these prices.
My order got messed up, thru no fault of Mikes, one of the warehouse monkeys can't count, but he still went above and beyond to make it right and get it fixed himself.
Order from him directly and you won't regret it. Thanks Mike
Minus the weight thing, if you took away the rest you might as well go drive an automatic base model civic! Shifting, clutching, noise, power band, vibration, heat, exhaust pipes are some of my favorite things!
I've always been a fan of the big 2 strokes. I've been looking for one of these for a few years and ran across this one almost 2 months ago. Its taken awhile to get it here from Medford Oregon but it finally showed up last Monday. Engine/suspension all stock(save for the chambers). AirTech fairings, R6 front brakes. I've only had time to take it for 1 (quite illegal) ride and everything works as it should on a 31 year old 2 smoke. There's nothing quite like the power delivery of a 4 cylinder 2-stroke as it comes on the pipe .
Dads 1976 Marlin .44 mag
It was the smallest gun there. My buddy Jerry was using this monster. .450 Thumper. The other guys were sporting .45-70's. Also hunted with dad's Ithaca 37 Deerslayer
It's in Maryville Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 6:00pm. If you're riding in Maryville Friday or Saturday evenings you're doing this trip wrong. http://www.hopsinthehills.com/schedule
PS: I reached out to the organizers about a shuttle service to/from Townsend...
I'm slowly creeping down towards my goal weight(At 217, wanna be at 200). New job has me getting alot more steps in each day, plus the gym is directly on my path home from work, so it's easier to get myself to go.
