I needed to sort some crap out that had been bothering me. No better way to do that than a ride. Ended up with 290 miles for the day. I took 83 south out of Coshocton to 78 into McConnelsville. Picked up 669 north, one of my favorites, to 668 north to 16. Problems resolved!
So my quad gets abused weekly if not daily. My seat wore a hole through the aluminum subframe. I decided to give the simple solutions aluminum welding rods a shot. The stuff seems to work great. You can see in the pictures I even grinded on the stuff. It was tough stuff. It may have even grinded harder than normal aluminum.

I would have your NoMar setup if I wanted to deal with the loss of garage space. Wheels might be my next best option, but I promised myself I would pay this off in less than 2 years.
The dd/mm/yyyy format is 99% downside wrt any sane way you'd want to sort it.
The sysadmins set our JIRA to have this as the default date format and they deserve to be on the same level of hell as the people that refuse to return shopping carts to the cart corral.
