Went out squirrel hunting with the kiddo today for his first time. They seemed to be hiding or to far away all day. We did get a chipmunk today, he sniped him in the ear with a .22 from 20Yrds. The head was sticking out of a hole in a tree. He had to reach down the hole to pull it out. We skinned it for him and are gonna try a salt tan on the hide. He was pumped even though we did not get any tree rats.

Note to self: stop at all stop signs in New Mexico.

why are you guys surprised the government is overstepping its bounds trying to tell us what to do? Have you not realized New America's Nanny State won't die?

There should be labeling so people can make their own decisions. If there's nothing to hide, then labeling should be no problem at all.

The current law in Ohio requires that the State we enter into a reciprocity agreement with has similar requirements as we do. We require training, PA does not...so that is the issue. I talked on the phone to the assistant AG that is in charge of making these agreements, he is very pro 2nd/CHL/reprocity. His hands are tied by the law, he and the PA people tried really hard to make it work. If this article's interpretation of the law is correct: "and a reciprocal program to recognize other states' permits if those states honor permits issued by Ohio" That will help, PA can recognize ours on their own...that forces Ohio to recognize theirs. Now, how do we get that message to the other states? Going to take us contacting the CHL forums in other states and getting them to talk to their state people.
