not really. There are a few exceptions, but generally speaking not in the 'traditional' way. I don't make howard buy me gifts and get upset if I don't have flowers and/or presents waiting for me.

Well, I also interviewed in Germany and was extended an offer there as well. This was a better offer for a number of reasons, but I'm still a little bummed about not going to germany... as a result, I am going to need to travel there for fun to indulge myself. Nothing a few vacations to europe won't be able to fix!

Yeah, next date would be June 14th weekend bc June 6 is deals gap. I know may 17th is the day after the epic ride, but I think it's still ok... Of course I live in cbus so it's no big deal for me to attend both.

Memorial day is May 25, the previous weekend. That's why I skipped that weekend in the selection process.

Got a job! Lots of interesting work going on there, seems like a great work environment, AND my commute is less than 20 minutes. I'm pretty excited. Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone!

Ok, lets roll with May 17th unless there's some other big event that day. I see epic ride people haven't picked an actual date yet, but May 16th is leading the polls, so maybe its just better to stay away from that day.

You have to just pick a day. If it coincides with a big event, people will tell you and you can pick a different day if you want (or not, can't please everyone!). How about May 16?

I was thinking small plastic bin, drill a hole in the bottom, connect a small plastic drainage tube. Fish in sealed bag, fill bin with ice!

Very cool. How are you/are you going to add internal circulation (for more even temps throughout)? For curing do you need to worry about ventilation at all? I've never looked into it, just curious.
